Pilot House on Venice Beach — Restaurant in Venice

Staff not very nice suppose to be open untill 4pm got there at 3:35 and said there not serving food anymore said we can have chips and stuff that it I didn't come all the way to the beach to eat snacks. We have been ate here before and love the food today was very bad. We had check the web sight before we came and it says open till 4pm so we had time the lady said no we close the grill at 3:30 and she said there is a sign on the door and yes there was on the other side were you can not see it becues they has the door held open up. The older lady continued to argue with us about it we only wanted a few things would of took 5 mins tops. Then as we was leaving she said well we close at for wich yes you do so why did you not serve us at 3:35..we are locals to I'd hate to see how they treat are guest that come here..anytime if ever been or worked anywhere when we say open till a certain time we stay open untill then not close 30 mins before. Not sure if that how it is or they just want to stop serving so they can leave as soon as 4pm hits if not they need it to be on there web sight so people don't hurry like us after work to get there and be denied service...and the lady had the nerve to say there are other restaurants around so now she telling you don't come here there are better places...so will never be back here again to eat glad the beach is...

What a find! After spending the morning on Venice Beach we set out to find somewhere to grab a bite for lunch and stumbled across this little place. Location wise it’s great - literally right on the beach next to the car park. There’s plenty of seating with great views and a wide choice of menu options. Got there close to closing on a Friday. Kitchen still open but they were closing early. Sounds by other reviews this is common. Food was great. Nice to sit outside and enjoy lunch. Staff very friendly. Found them when doing youtube search for shark teeth beach. So now it's off the bucket list. Seems to be more of a local beach vibe. Anyway, pilot...
