The Galley — Restaurant in Verndale

Went to try there food when we got there there was only 3 others in the restaurant we placed are order witch was 2 omelets 1 French toast and I ordered biscuits and gravy while we where sitting there waiting for are food there was 4 other guys come in and 3 other that ordered take out the 4 guys that came in after us got there ordered food before us aswell as the 3 that ordered take out food got there food before us then after 40 to 45 minutes later we got are order but it come to are table at 2 different times and my biscuits and gravy was white gravy with sausage on top like it was an after thought and it was cold and are server only came to the table to take are order and then again to...

I had smelled some fried chicken through an open door and I was hankering for fried chicken. I saw the small Galley Cafe on the side of Hwy 10 in downtown Verndale. I stopped in and saw that the menu was limited to what they were best at and chicken strips were the closest I would get. Now chicken strips are hot or miss most places, but these were tender, hot and perfectly cooked. The tater tots that I got were also super crispy, just like I like them. Turns out the Galley is a new place in Verndale, and making its mark in the small town. The biker lady at the counter was eating a wrap that she said was her go to meal every time she drove through Verndale. I will be back to check out the rest...

Everything from the fresh cut fries to the amazing milkshakes that no one can beat; the Galley is a great place to get some of the best fresh meals in the area and for a great price!
