Had my birthday at this restaurant because someone else picked it but had an family crisis so didn’t make it but we had eaten here a few time before this day-food was good people are nice usually service was good until the end-even though we were asked if everything was ok several times drinks asked to be refilled by the waitress did everything right the customer joined in singing me happy birthday all good until the end- my complain with this place is I had taken my birthday cake up there two days ahead and asked if they would put the candles on and lite the candles she said yes. But when it came time the waitress and there were two waitresses in this small place one was waiting on us said she didn’t have time to put the candles on the cake in a rude response I thought ( which she did) and the candles would blow out due to ceiling fans( which didn’t happen because a fan was right by our table and fans didn’t affect the candles at all. So they brought the cake and candles still in package so I had to end up putting the candles on and lighting them myself. I found this rudely handled and to be such a small place needing people to keep it going. They should be more accommodating during instances like this it’s a special day for the person-Even though we like the food not always been crazy about some of our waitress but endured them because we wanted to eat there but never again sorry they’re too many other places to eat. This review won’t close them down nor should it but it should make them feel bad about how they handle this this situation. There are too many other places to eat and this restaurant does a good business but if they keep brushing off and handling their home town people what do they think could happen to their future? It truly made me sad they would do something that was so easily done and expected because making your customers happy is what it’s all about after all....
Read moreFirst time eating here. Food was good and prices were reasonable. There was a young girl and an older woman working. Older lady was our server. We felt very rushed and had to listen to her fuss at the younger girl Abby (who was very sweet btw) the entire time we were there. She didn’t refill our drinks at all so by the time I went to the counter to pay our bill all our teas had been empty for quite some time. I asked Abby (she took my payment) if we could get a couple teas to go. Before she had a chance to get them the old lady was yelling at her again to do something else so I kindly informed her (old lady) that we were just waiting on our teas and she told me that Abby would get them in a minute. Let’s remember that this is the lady who was our server and neglected to refill our drinks at the table and just collected herself a nice tip regardless of her bad attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day, who knows. If we ever go there again, I will request Abby to be our server. No I’m not just bored, I never write reviews but I’ve been a server and a manager in restaurants and I just can’t get over how awfully rude that woman was to her customers and staff. Maybe consider a new...
