Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Vernon

Always looking for a place to eat on the way from New Mexico to denton and THIS IS THE PLACE. My kids got to stretch their legs and enjoy all of the gorgeous roses and crazy statues and then we all feasted. We love Thai food and this is unlike any we have had, the flavors were unique and everything was so fresh. I do warn you that the portions are huge and our family of four (who eat a lot) could have survived on one order of pad Thai [$9 and enough to feed a baseball team] and a side of egg rolls, easily. I have never ate anything like this in the big city.

We traveled through Vernon and stopped by here for lunch. We also called ahead to make an order to save time. We had egg rolls, chicken fried rice and chicken noodle soup. They seem to make everything from scratch and do not over-salt or over-oil the dishes. To say that food was tasty is to make an understatement. Don’t be thrown off by the various metal animal sculptures (a lot of chickens) and the cash or check only. This thai food in the middle of random Texas absolutely bangs. CALL AHEAD and don’t complain about the wait cuz my homie cooks everything homemade on the spot. Also this is legit spice, not white people spice so don’t order above medium spicy (5/10) unless you are physically and mentally prepared.
