July 11th about 6:15 p.m. 2016 after I was seated I ordered a sweet tea and a fajita shrimp fajita fast forward the food came out and the flies came out with the food I got bombarded by the Flies instantly I called the waitress over and she said there's nothing we can do about the Flies I calmly asked could I talk with a manager keep in mind I only prepared one fajita and took a bite off of it I went to the register at this time because I was disgusted and told the supervisor the supervisor responded to me by saying $15 and thirty cent I said no ma'am I refuse to pay for that because of the Flies and when I told her that she got highly upset and started making racial slurs at this time I just politely walked out of the building she voided the ticket and told me as I was walking out I bet if it were free the Flies would not have bothered you I guess she conveniently didn't noticed that I was in a company uniform as I walked out she proceeded to make statements that I couldn't afford the food that's why I didn't want to pay but keep in mind I never really got to enjoy the food because of the Flies on top of flies in...

Located a little off the main thoroughfares of Vicksburg, a few miles down South on US 61, this place is quite a find.Even an hour before closing time on a Friday night, they had a decent crowd of customers. The decor is tasteful and traditional, with a lot of space and so we didn't have to wait to be seated. The waitress was very friendly and gave us a whole array of different type of recommendations. Our first choice, Quesadillas Chorizo came with two big sized Quesadillas stuffed with delectably spiced chorizo (mexican sausages) cooked with fried onions and peppers along with sides of fried beans, guacamole and lettuce. Our second choice was Martinez Special, the perfect mix of grilled chicken and beef cooked with spicy chorizo. It also came with rice and beans and was quite a revelation to the taste buds. Paired with some mexican beers, this was quite a satisfying dining experience. Definitely plan to go back...

Your choices for Mexican aren't huge in Vicksburg, I'd consider this the best and I was born and raised 30 minutes from Mexico so I can be pretty picky. Order a Mocajete Bowl, don't question what's in it... just do it! Take a friend or two, you'll need to unless you love leftovers. Staff is less than brilliant... they will eventually take your order and you will get your food when it's ready, but don't expect for them to drop by your table again unless you make an effort to get someone's attention. It can be a pain.... but the food makes up for it, just be sure your tea is full before they disappear after your food...
