What a surprise!! We stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon. We chose this place due to the reviews. The location was about three miles off the interstate, but it is easy to find. No turns to get there. The menu who was very big. THERE WERE LOTS OF OPTIONS. My man is a steak man- so that's what he ordered. I ordered the appetizer steak bites as meal. they offered to put them over mashed potatoes Instead of rice and I took them up on the offer. because it was an appetizer, I ordered a side salad too. The side salad came as a full salad. It was huge, fresh, and delicious. the steak bites were tasty and included some kind of spicy teriyaki sauce sprinkled over them. the mashed potatoes were homemade. 10/03/2024 Dinner. Steak night! We drove 500+ miles today, from Commerce, Georgia towards Texas and stopped in at Vicksburg for an overnight stay. We wandered into this place and was told that tonight was Steak night! Whoohoo! They were serving a 14 ounce ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, plus a piece of garlic bread. All for $25.

My wife and I ordered one each, and it was very enjoyable.

This restaurant opened this past December and the owner and staff were wonderful. Like any new place, they're working out the kinks, and if we were staying longer than one night, we would go back to try out their menu.

Our dinner was better than expected tonight.

Desiring a good burger after a day at the Vicksburg Military Park, we looked on Google. So convenient to our lodging we drove over to the Vicksburg Bistro and were so happy with our meal. We were early diners and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Swamp Burger and it was a fantastic combination of innovative flavors. Who knew onion jam could be so marvelous?
