Cajun Wok was something we found by accident looking for food nearby, but we were blessed to come across it.
At first glance we didn’t know what to expect and almost missed out assuming it was going to be bad food because it was inside of a gas station. I came in with my brother and father and we ate good. The owner was kind, personable and helped us to understand the menu and pick the best food based off of our questions. Now I will say if you can’t handle spice that well prepare yourself get a drink from the fountain drinks to have alongside your meal. The portions are great, we were filled and couldn’t even finish all of our food! We got the Mac and cheese with fish and shrimp, and the fried rice with shrimp and corn, I think it was called the hot box. Take the chance and get some food at this spot. The owner wears gloves, is great at what they do and it shows in how they cook and keep a clean working space! Thank you...
Read moreI've had just about everything on the menu and everything is amazing! Tons of flavor! My mouth is watering now just thinking about it! Great owners as well. As I have read a few bad reviews on her, a while back they did have a cook that wasn't the best and totally messed everything up, but the owner was made aware and made a Facebook post to message them if you got that and she offered a free meal the next time (which I did not take because these owners are great and amazing, hard working women!), so it was made right! Probably my favorite place in Victoria! I hope eventually, maybe they'll find a great, small location all for themselves! If you haven't tried this and are thinking about it (which obviously you are if you're reading this 🤣) JUST GO THERE AND GIVE IT ONE TRY! I dare you! You'll be hooked! Prices are a little high, anywhere between $15 to $25, but the taste and flavor explosions make it worth...
Read moreThis was my first experience with Cajun wok and it was challenging. I went to place my order for fried fish and fried shrimp, and was told we don’t have fried shrimp. As I looked and noticed over half the menu had fried shrimp. It was disappointing, after an audible for grilled shrimp it was okay. The fried rice bed had good flavor but over salted. The fried fish was Great, with a perfect balance of seasoning in crispiness that led me only to want more. The cornmeal batter made for a perfect crust that was perfect on everybody. I wish I had some tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, roll or bread to go with my meal of which were never offered. My fault for not asking or checking before I left As an as I thought, these were just typically acquire compliments Overall, it’s not a good value for your money. I wish I had my tie in condiments. The food taste and texture is on point but not...
