I had lunch at 11am on a Tuesday. The bartender/cook/waitress was friendly and did a good job of getting my beer, soda and burger with fried onions all done by herself while also taking phone orders. Talk about multitasking, yet she handled it all well. Tasty food, ice cold beer and the table was clean. I'll be back. :)

Services is A+, walking in as they finished breakfast so had a bit of a wait. They were very upfront about that and we made the decision to stay. That Hoot burger was worth the wait. Delicious, extremely inexpensive/reasonable great cheese curds. This is a small town gem

Always the best Friday night fish fry. Always. Hubs & I get the 3-piece and split it (I get 1, he gets 2], order the coleslaw (homemade delish) and each get has browns with onions & cheese. Heaven. Best part- we bike from MoHo & burn it off.

We were camping at Blue Mound and our grill wasn't working. Stopped here to get some breakfast and it was amazing. I've never seen my kids eat so much, which is the ultimate compliment when you have a 5 and a 7 year old. We had a breakfast sandwich, cinnamon french toast, biscuits and gravy and a normal two egg meal. There was nothing left, we had to hobble out of there. It was so good we came back to try the lunch menu on our way out of town. We had chicken sandwiches and burgers and it was great. The best part is my 5 year old changed his mind and wanted French toast but breakfast was over. Judy found someone that wasn't going to eat all theirs and got him some. It made his day, and mine. I worked in food service for 10+ years and Jeff knows what he's doing and cares about what he's serving. Honestly I can't say enough, this place is great. Someone please try the deep fried PB&J sandwich and let me know how it was. If it's the only dessert, then I'm sure...

We visited today with our two grandchildren after visiting the cave Of the mounds. We waited over an hour for two sandwiches, fries, and a side l salad. One of the fries came after most of the food was eaten. The waitress was very rude from the start and never offered us refills on beverages or water. She never returned to see how the food was, even though she was just standing at the bar Counter. She served all of the beverages and food at the end of the table, making us get up or lean over to try to pull the food toward the place settings. Everyone in the place was complaining about the wait time and were very frustrated with the service. I would never go here again, even though the food was OK. Both the cook and the waitress, who we could see at all times, need to find new...

A perfect small town Wisconsin bar. We went to the Friday fish fry and knew it would be busy but we didn’t have to wait too long for our reservation. We appreciated that we were able to make reservations with two small children. The food was excellent including the perfectly breaded cod. I’m glad the waitress talked me into the hash browns but they also have great crinkle cut fries. The old fashioneds were also made to perfection. If you are driving from Iowa to or thru Madison, it is...
