The Spur. The greatest dive bar in Appleton, possibly the greater Fox Cities region.

Park in which ever arrangement you find stone parking lot in that given night, prepare to smell like the smoking ban never passed, listen to some true classic rock, and pay for actually reasonably priced (yet stuff) drinks.

Sadly, the stripper pole has been removed in favor of bar games like Golden Tee and shuffleboard, there’s still plenty of fun with the existing pool table and high school garage party throwback: beer pong.

If you’re lucky you’ll be treated to one of the best (at least most efficient) bartenders in the area, there could be 50 people holding out money at the bar yet somehow she gets the right drink in everyone’s hand, gives you correct change, within a minute. No waiting two songs for a drink, no matter how busy, how late in the night, or how loud someone’s singing Bon Jovi...

I love frequenting this place! The ladies behind the bar are so fun and sweet, and they always make my time enjoyable. Food is limited, but at bar close on a weekend night after hours of being out...pizza, chips and popcorn never disappoint.

The Spur is an awesome place to go if you want excitement because there is always something going on. Pool, darts, ping pong, and fun music are always being played, and the bartenders and regular customers who frequent this bar provide friendly faces to smile...

Whatever you've heard, it's wrong. One of the oldest watering holes in the Valley, with an entirely undeserved reputation. Most nights. The Silver Lounge is home to one of the most unfinely curated menagerie of human beings you can find in the 920. It's never boring. Fair prices, great tenders, first-rate people watching.
