Amigos Bakery Vineland — Restaurant in Vineland

I went today to buy a cake and the staff was friendly , this was my first time coming to this bakery , I live in Vineland but I drive to a bakery in vorhees but this was last minute and didn’t really want to drive that far, so first thing I noticed there were not a variety of cakes here , and so I did buy a chocolate chip cake and a slice of coconut cake , the coconut cake looked good , When I got home I touched the side of the chocolate chip cake and it was hard, me and my mom thought the coconut cake was dry not moist , my dad said it was hard . Maybe it was just that one cake I don’t know , I was suppose to take the cake to my job but instead got in my car and drove to the vorhees bakery to buy a cake from there. There were more choices like piña colada cake , orange creamsicle , white chocolate cream with chocolate chips, snickers and caramel cake, rocky roads , butter finger , heath toffee, kalua and cream , amaretto with sliced almonds , butter pecan, chocolate Oreo , tropical pineapple , mango. There are just too many choices to put on here . I bought the apple caramel crunch cake . So I’m just saying I won’t be coming back to this bakery . I will drive the distance to get what I pay for . First cake was from crust and crumbs and second cake was from sweet eats...

Just attempted to place an order for my mothers birthday, service was despicable. We were rushed out of the bakery, we had no confirmation about our order. We didn't not even have a chance to ask questions. The lady was so rude we were shocked and left. We decided to call and speak to the manager to let her know the customer service was an issue. When we called a younger lady picked up the phone and I asked to speak to speak to her manager, she tried to put the manager on the phone, at this point I can hear the manager arguing and shout at this poor girl " I'm not speaking to anyone", they continue to argue and the younger girl puts me on mute finally. A few seconds lady the manager picks up the phone. Low and behold the lady we spoke to earlier WAS the manager. WOW. I kindly told her the customer service we received was not up to par and we would like to cancel our order. She did not apologize nor ask what happened or even attempt to make things right. This place is wonderful!! We came in for a birthday cake. They had many to choose from. We knew there would be extra people at the party, so we bought two. Everyone was delighted with our choices. In fact, those two cakes were the topic of conversation the rest of the night! We bought a two layer Strawberry Shortcake and a Choco-Flan. Did I mention they were delicious? Even people who don't normally eat had a slice of each. The other thing about this bakery is that the donuts are great. We got a half dozen sticky buns with raisens. The best part was the people in the bakery were very pleasant and helpful. In our current culture, many places are lacking in pleasant customer service people. Well, we found where some of them went. They work at Amigos Bakery in Vineland. Lastly, in addition to the aforementioned traditional American items, there are also items that will attract people who enjoy traditional Hispanic baking.
