I'm fairly new to the area. I've been living in East Vineland for just about a year now. I grew up in South Jersey until I joined the Air Force out of OC High School. I'm back now. ๐
Since moving to East Vineland, I've ordered plenty of pizzas and subs from Dominick's. I've always been pleased and happy with everything I've ordered. The food is on point. I'm just as happy with your subs as is, but when I get them home, I like to toast my subs to put a bit of crustyness on the roll. I've never ask for y'all to toast my sub. I've always got what I asked for, you're doing it right.
Just recently, I ordered your Italian Antipasto salad. So good, very happy, delicious, and put together right. When I ordered for pick-up I asked if I could have grilled chicken added to the salad. When I went to pick it up, the chef waited until I got there to ask me if I really wanted the grilled chicken on top of the salad before he put the chicken on the grill/flat top. He suggested to have the grilled chicken on the side. I agreed.. So he put the chicken on the grill/flat top, I waited a few minutes for my order to finish, not a problem at all.
I am so glad the chef waited until I got there to make his suggestion. I took his suggestion. I absolutely loved it with the chicken cooked and on the side, I just added the chicken to my salad as I saw fit when it was time to grub. In fact, I'm going back today making the same order.
I feel lucky to have a place right down the road who does it right.
Thank you for being there Dominick's. You have not seen...
ย ย ย Read moreOrdered a caprice salad yesterday and added chicken on the side. What I received technically match the description of a caprice salad but this was the strangest salad I had ever received. The tomatoes were huge beefsteak tomatoes which is kind of cool even though Iโm used to having the smaller cherry or grape tomatoes in this type of salad but thatโs cool maybe the people at this restaurant or taking a different approach. Continuing on into this salad it was heavily saturated in swimming in oil. There were three basil leaves and six thick cut tomatoes. So this isnโt really evening out, I was definitely searching for any kind of basil flavor in this entire dish. The salad literally had three leaves I know because I counted them and I was confused. The chicken that I had asked for I think actually might be some kind of lunch meat turkey? Itโs kind of like the turkey that you would get in a gravy if you went to Wawa and they put it on a gobbler. There was little to no flavor in the entire dish. I feel like whoever made the salad has never made a caprice salad before and so what they did was read the menu and just winged it , but they did so poorly. Is there tomatoes? Indeed there is a lot of them cut very thickly. Was there basil? Yes but only a few leaves. Iโm not too sure about this chicken and it was heavily oiled but lacked any flavor. I do not recommend this...
ย ย ย Read moreStopped here for dinner after a local recommended it when she heard we needed a quick dinner stop. We were skeptical when we saw the shipping center. Closed grocery store, Family Dollar, a Chinese restaurant and a few other places. But saw Dominick's and thought it looked good inside, so we tried it out. When we walked in, it's a nice pizza place. Pizza is clearly the draw, but they also have pastas, subs, salads, etc. We ordered a large chest pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots came out very quickly and we're excellent, nice and soft and very garlicy! They also can't with warm marinara. For $2.50 we got six huge garlic knots! The pizza came out just as we finished, we ordered thin crust. The pizza was nice and thin but not crispy. The crust was nice and soft as well. The sauce had the right about of sweetness and kick. It was quite good, especially if you like tasting the salt in the pizza (not over the top, but slightly noticeable). Overall we were quite happy with the food. Everything came out fast and service was very friendly. My daughter asked my wife for a pen and the waitress quickly offered hers, which was quite nice. She then came back with a cop of crayons for the girls. If you are in the area, you'll be very happy with the pizza here! And based on the recommendation from a local and the steady business, there...
