My first time there never experienced a diner where none of the waitresses dealing with food had no gloves while touching my toast or anyone wearing a mask or hairnets. While watching my waitress go n handle money at the register n then clean the countertop with a rag that was just laying there then went on to get my food without sanatizing or washing her hands was disgusting we r in a pandemic that we have to be really careful with the public waitresses shouldn't be touching there phone ,eating ,one coughed on her hand n went on to get a customers toast no sanitary at all in the work area the cook serving bacon with his bare hands I couldn't believe I was in a place like that it was a mess all the way around I can go on n on sadly said I didn't complain i payed my bill n will never go back not even for a free meal had to give it a star to post not...

Food was fantastic, but somehow the price of my meal doubled on the ticket but I didn’t say anything because I was ready to get out of there. Do not come here if you’re from out of town. They were nice to all their regulars but very rude to me And my husband who had a NC hat on and a nine line sweater. Then when I waited until the end of the meal for my side and had to ask about it, she acted like I was the biggest inconvenience ever. Asked if they took card and they said yes but you can’t leave a tip on the card so my husband went all the way to Walgreens while I sat there to leave a 40% tip for a 5%service. Not to mention the big white cook had no gloves on and kept wiping his hands on the same dirty spot on his pants/apron. Regulars or locals also get their food first. Oscar's the best cook in town! But you can tell some of the quality has gone down. There was a time when you ordered Bacon they gave you Bacon, now the Bacon is razor thin and counted, The menu prices are not what you'll pay. menu quotes one price Bill shows another! Cubed potatoes are great, so are the long hots! The bread toast just right! Did I say Oscar is the best cook in town! Coffee is great, milk and real sugar on the counter! Daily specials available.
