The Bean Field Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Viola

Tried to order by drive up but taking too long so went in but unfortunately stood in pick up line. Some other ladies arrived after and got in another line but I just thought they were trying to read the menu. Then they showed me it was the order line so I asked if I could get in front of them because I had been waiting. I don't understand why the barista didn't notice me waiting in the pick up line and tell me as the little tiny sign for the order line is barely noticeable. Coffee drink was ok, if I go again I'd just get dark coffee black to judge better. Bathrooms and atmosphere is clean...

I happened to be in Viola visiting a friend. They suggested I give these folks a try. I arrived coffee 11:58 a.m. The sign on the front door showed I had 2 minutes before they closed. I went in anyway, and the barista/owner was very gracious. She even unwrapped some banana bread and offered to warm it up. It was very pleasant tasting - moist and a good even consistency. The house blend coffee was hot and satisfying. Thumbs up. I'll stop by, earlier, next time...

I ordered an iced tea and an oatmeal chocolate chip muffin. I have always been an iced tea girl, and the iced tea at Beanfield is excellent. The muffin was a perfect balance flavors and was not gritty but was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. The decor is clean and the atmosphere is cozy and the service was friendly. I wish they had expanded hours but this business is a wonderful addition...
