9 Mile Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

Stopped here this morning because I’m tired of Cracker Barrel and the like. I wanted some homemade fresh breakfast food with a different taste. Customer service was nice! The lady was extremely kind and helpful although, when I walked in I thought I was gonna be told to get out because it was all white folks dining in and the decor looks like something from the 30s. Folks were nice to be clear but the food was not good at all. I left a hefty tip and went on my way. If you’re looking for great flavor please look the other way. Also not clean at all. I feel clean could help. A lot of dust and bugs around. Apparently a lot of others love them...

TERRIBLE! No other way to properly describe this place. I am actually shocked it pops up as a place to go for breakfast. The coffee was the worst cup of coffee I have ever had..and I was military so that says alot. The toast was unbuttered. Literally they toasted the bread and added nothing to it. The western omlette was well cooked but if there was ham in it the pieces were so small you barely saw them. Lastly they were not busy but had the nerve to serve a microwaved pancake. I mean come on it takes 3 minutes or less to make a pancake. They must have a heck of a lunch to keep people coming back. I will never know because I won't...

My family went to this diner for the first time today for breakfast. It's only about 8 minutes away from the airport. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere inside. The staff was friendly and our server took great care of us. The prices were amazing for the portions you get. The food was decent but standard diner fare. The menu had a lot to offer and had many choices for breakfast and lunch.
