I wanted this place to be good, but that didn't pan out. The service was polite but incredibly slow. We thought we'd been forgotten, which is weird when we were the only people there in a hard to find restaurant hidden among industrial buildings. It took forever to get chips even after reminding the server. The margaritas were too strong and the person who delivered them had no idea which drink was which and they were $13 each. The food was awful. Horribly overcooked. The plantains, shrimp and steak were like jerky. We were given filthy utensils and had to request clean ones.
I love supporting small businesses so I really hope this place turns around. Unfortunately I will not be going back...
Read moreFood: chili con queso thin, runny; nachos azada - ok; plato tipico, underwhelming; platanos frito, quite good! Service (by Kimberly) was absolutely awful; we had to ask for everything, three times, including the check. No other patrons were present, we were the only two people in the restaurant (redundant only to be clear that the staff was not swamped or taxed in any way ~ which adds even more to the frustration and disappointment). Atmosphere: cute establishment, the game was on, at full blast, I didn't bother to ask for the game to be turned down since we already seemed like an inconvenience to the staff at that point. Bottom line: not sure what the rave reviews were about but we won't be...
Read moreI was working nearby and I found this place on Google ! I am a sucker for Tex Mex!
I stopped in, I was the only one there. I tried the taco combo.
The portions for the price are small in my opinion.
They were very good though.
The margarita was strong but I have had better.
Overall the place has good food, probably better service when the place is busy!
But it is hard to find! At the very end of the street to the right and then behind another building! You cannot see it from the street!
Worth a visit...
