SHRINKFLATION. WHERES THE BEEF ARBYS??!! I don't honestly know if this is a problem unique to this location or chain-wide but in either case, we won't be back for a while, if ever. The wife stopped at the "truck stop" exit for fuel and picked up dinner on the way home. A brisket sandwich meal, a fish sandwich meal, and two beef and cheddars came in at $40. $40! For that we could have had a sit down meal for two at a mid-level chain like Chili's. I was so shocked at the size of my "brisket" sandwich I weighed it: 5.8oz. Way less than 1/2 a pound including the bun, sauce, etc. And really, little more than 1/4 of a pound, 4 oz. It had less than half a thin 1/8" slice of a brisket flat between the two dry bin slices. Even after adding my own pickles, Onion and bbq sauce it only reached the 5.8 ounces. The flavor was ok. The fries were old, the drink was fine but with so little protein, it would have been laughable if it hadn't cost $13! The fish sandwich was "ok" but the pics in the commercials make the fish fillet appear to be 4-5" and hanging well beyond the border of the bun. Her fish sandwich fillet was 3" long at best and fit well within the border of her soggy bun and for $13, this was terrible. The biggest issue however was that after that expense, neither of us had eaten a meal and had to eat again later when our stomachs began to rumble and our blood sugars began to drop before going to bed. The beef and cheddars were left in the fridge for a "snack" for another time and we had to prepare another meal, so the trip to Arby's was not only a waste of money and time, but didn't even accomplish the most basic goal- to feed two people and provide a meal in exchange for the $40 cost. Shrinkflation or whatever you want to call it is here folks, and sadly you can get a bag of...
Read moreIt was 10pm on a Thursday. I wanted a Gyro & a place to sit and eat because this sandwich can be messy. The door was open & I ordered my meal. The fountain bar did not work when I went to get my soda. The kid that took my order said "oh yeah those are turned off" and he filled my drink request. My meal came & I proced to the dining room when the manager on duty said "You can't sit down because our dining room closed at 9PM". Keep in mind there is no signage stating this...no cones or any visable barricade indicating you could not use the dining facilities. I said to the manager "Let me ask you a dumb question...is your counter open?" He said "it is". I said "great...I'm going to eat my meal right here". He said "You can't eat at the counter...its for ordering only" so how are you going to receive your food if the counter is only for ordering? I left because it wasn't worth arguing about how poorly run this place was. If you can only order food at this time inside & the drive through is open, which it was, why would you evev have the doors unlocked? When I drove away & was a mile or so up the road I realized the curly fries were cold. I hope someone with authority reads this and fixes the issues that plague this fast food...
Read moreI have never felt so belittled in my life. I asked for the kids ham and cheese slider meal with apple sauce and milk. I was then told that there is a choice of "ham and swiss", a "ham and cheese slider" and some other option, to which I responded "the ham and cheese slider", as it says clearly on the menu. The employee proceeded to argue with me about what the choices were. I told her I didn't understand what choices she was talking about and simply rolling her eyes, repeating herself, and talking to me like I'm an idiot is not going to clarify anything. She continued repeating the "choices" and I responded again that I wanted the ham and cheese slider, again just as it says on the menu, and the same thing (and way) I've always ordered it many times before for my son. She then laughed, rolled her eyes and said "ok I'll just put that in." Needless to say I did not order anything else and will never visit this Arby's again. I will add, the woman that brought the food to the counter was very pleasant and my son loved his sandwich as usual. I'm still fired up...
