This was my family of 4s very time at Bella Vita. They came to us very highly recommended by someone we knew so we figured why not, let’s give it a go. I’m an Italian food lover and I was very excited and had high expectations. Firstly, we sat down and it was 10 minutes before someone came and asked us what we wanted to drink. We finally placed our order, an appetizer as well. It was 20-25 minutes before the appetizer finally came out and that was a disappointment as well. We got the spinach bites. It was just bread with an overload of spinach feta cheese and mozzarella and way way too much garlic. It wasn’t even 5 minutes after our appetizer came out that our food came out. My husband ordered the shrimp & crab pasta. This is a $19-$20 entree. We immediately noticed the shells still on the shrimp. My husband took 2 bites and kept getting shells in his mouth even AFTER he peeled them himself. When we asked the waiter about it, he told us that yes the shrimp is not peeled. I’m sorry but for a $20 entree, you’re not peeling the shrimp?! My husband told the waiter to take the food back and he did not want a replacement or anything else to eat. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. It did not come with any ranch as it says so on the menu. I had to ask the waiter for it and it took him almost 10 minutes to bring it out. I heard the people behind us complaining that none of their food was served correctly either. And on top of all of that, our waiter seemed absolutely clueless when we asked him questions. He never refilled our drinks, I had to ask for more tea and more napkins for our 2 children. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back. They did not charge us for my husbands meal but we still paid $54 for the rest of our meal. And I am livid. Y’all need...
Read moreMy dad and I ordered take-out from here for the first time the other day, because he craved a cheese steak and our usual place was closed. He was pleased with the quality and taste of the cheese steak overall, he also got onion rings to go with it. The only little complaint he had was that it was in a styrofoam box, which even I didn’t see the problem with that. Until he explained that it causes the bread of the cheese steak and the onion ring breading to become soggy pretty quickly. It wasn’t a huge deal and he was still satisfied with the food. I ordered the calzone (meat lovers), & it was huge & perfectly cooked. I was a little disappointed that it only had mozzarella cheese, no ricotta. The main reason I ordered the calzone was for the ricotta cheese and no sauce inside. It did however say it only had mozzarella in it on the menu. I just didn’t read it thoroughly enough. Overall...
Read moreThe family and I visited for the first time yesterday and the food was good besides the bread being forgotten with my pasta and my son ordering napoleon ice cream and received sherbet instead. To add, it was not noted in the menu. ☹️ I will say the customers service was spectacular! Enormous shout out to Art! Art, was our server and was super apologetic about the situation and poor thing had so many tables, it was like nobody was helping him. 🙁 I will say, I do feel so awful for the employees there. How I seen management yesterday speak to their employee was awful and very unprofessional. Very disappointed. I will not...
