Broadlands Brickoven Pizzeria — Restaurant in Virginia

This would be the second time I have ordered from here the first time was awesome so ordered again today same as last time a medium pizza and a chicken calzone. When ordering I advised the person on the phone it was basement apartment they repeated it and that was it the cashier said it'll be delivered in 45 min. Well 10 min later they call me back, my husband answers the phone to confirm the order, which they had all wrong so we readvised the order and the address which again said basement. An hour and 20 min later I call them and tell them I haven't gotten my order yet, the cashier puts me on hold to call the driver and once off hold she advises me that the driver just left and knocked on the door, no knock on my door so I automatically think must be the front door so my husband goes to the front door to find our pizza and calzone. He brings it to the basement only to find ants everywhere on the pizza. I called to let them know and the manager, I am assuming, gets on the phone and blames me for not giving proper directions, ughhhh no I reconfirmed not once but 2 times with your people when they called back. So I tell him I want my good remade and to be honest I want a refund too, I've been waiting for an hour and half by now and you're also blaming me for your employees mistakes. He says he can remake the food and to leave the other ant pizza outside for the driver to pick up but he won't give me my money back and remake the food. Wow a disappointed to say the least! Now waiting for the second round, hopefully they'll get the address right and...

I had a horrible experience tonight with Broadlands Brickoven Pizza and I will not order from them again. I called and ordered a large pizza half pepperoni and half supreme. I paid for the pizza over the phone with a tip for the driver and waited. 35 minutes later the pizza arrived – I took it from the driver and went downstairs to eat with my dad. When I opened the box I realized they brought a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. I called back immediately to let them know my order was wrong expecting to hear, “we are so sorry about that, keep the pizza you have and we will get the right pizza over to you right away”. That would have been the right answer. What I got was the wrong answer. I was put on hold for 5 minutes and when the guy came back to the phone he told me they would make the pizza we originally ordered but that I would need to pay the difference because I was only charged for the half pepperoni and half cheese pizza AND that they would expect me to give them back the pizza that I had. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AND WHAT WERE THEY GOING TO DO WITH THE PIZZA THAT WAS BROUGHT INTO MY HOME, GIVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE??? The is an excellent example of horrible customer service. It’s extremely disappointing because I live like 3 blocks from them. I will NEVER order from them again, and I will tell everyone I know about this appalling experience. We've had the BBP menu stuck to our fridge for a few months now and never placed an order. Wow, have we been missing out on GREAT NY Style Pizza Until Now! We're always looking for the best pizza in the NOVA area and Broadlands Brickoven Pizza Definitely Scores High in Our Opinion!

Let me first say, This review is based on "Delivery" folks so I can't Wait to try the pizza in the restaurant! We ordered via phone which was a little challenging "Only" because they were training a nice young lady to take orders and the restaurant was very busy last night. Our delivery driver arrived quickly and our food was still Hot which surprised me based on the location.

Our menu has coupons so we used the large one topping pizza w/ 10 wings for $19.99. We had the sausage w/ extra sauce for the pizza and the wings we did BBQ. Wow, the pizza was just as Good as our favorite pizza place in Manassas Tony's NY Pizza! The sauce tasted fresh, the sausage had a little spice to it and the crust was on the thinner side but not thin crust. The wings were cooked Perfectly, lightly breaded, tossed in BBQ sauce and still had that light breaded crunch...I agree with other reviewers that these wings are the best I've had through a pizza place and maybe beyond.
