Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Virginia

lets start on the positive side fast service and nice personnel. Ok now the rest. this is now my 3rd visit. 1st visit everything was quick easy and right. Second visit What I assume is the manager gave me low key guff for not telling him that our order was to go. Then again I ordered 2 malts and 3 sundaes in waffle bowls and 2 pup sundaes(which they offer free which is great). That time the orders we right but again not asking if its to go and then given the customer guff on that is poor. Now 3rd visit and though I didn't think it was possible we go the make your own sundaes. We ordered 3 custom waffle bowls and none of them were assembled. Listen I get if the product doesn't fit a item or two not on the ice cream might be ok but, nothing but ice cream in the bowl on 3 waffle bowls and 9 cups of assorted toppings on the side. Isnt the point of a ice cream shoppe to enjoy prepared ice cream. If I wanted to assemble all the toppings at home I would have saved money and went to kroger and bought everything in parts. Gyz always check your receipts, the new students who work in summer .. they charge you extra and disrespect .. and don’t except their mistake , very bad experience. Always ask for receipt as they put the tip themselves. The scoops were less aswell , she charged me extra .. and I asked her twice for receipt and in that also mistake .. the Asian girl with braces behavior( giving description ) so that the owner knows which worker m talking about was not acceptable at all . They should be trained in treating people well New workers should be trained on their behavior the veteneese Asian girl was yelling behind my back saying have a great night sarcastically and made other people laugh , which was insulting to me , people go to relish evening by buying ice cream .....

Last time we go here even though it's right next to our house. Bottom line The staff do not care. On our latest trip, the girl apparently did not understand my husband because he did not use the exact word for word name of the ice cream, so instead of asking to confirm which one he wanted, she just gave him one that had one of the words he mentioned in the title. When I came up and told her this was not the one we wanted, she then confirmed that she had not understood him and had just gave him a flavor. When I asked if she could give us the one we wanted, she said no.
