Burger King — Restaurant in Virginia

I previously gave this Burger King an excellent review based on prior experiences. But a recent meal at a drive-through has COMPLETELY changed my view of this restaurant. I recently went through the drive-through 20 minutes before closing time. BIG MISTAKE. After receiving my food, I quickly realized that the fries were extremely old and as cold as can be. I have no idea how long they had been sitting in the fry bin. So I circled around the building and went back to the drive-through and to let them know what they served me was COMPLETELY unacceptable and to get fresh fries. While I was waiting, another car pulled up to the right of me and the driver rolled down his window. The gentleman asked me if I received cold food also. I told him I did. He said he also pulled around the building because his onion rings were cold. He said he saw my car in line earlier and suspected I was also served unacceptable food like he had been served. He and I discussed the fact that the food should have NEVER been served. Yet it was. He and I were at a loss how the employees thought what they gave us was OK and that we would somehow find it acceptable. I then told the person working the drive-through window that if the restaurant wanted to close at 10, they should have closed at 10 and not stay be open until 11. Then I asked to speak with a manager. I was told straight out that the manager was "not available." I'm not sure I have ever been told that at any fast food establishment. After I got my new fries, I drove away only to discover that my chicken sandwich was also also cold and dry. Given their refusal to let me speak with a manager to address the issue, I have opted to post this updated review instead. Was there a manager even in the restaurant at that time? If so, how could he or she let food like that be served to customers? Any goodwill that the Powhatan Burger King previously had with me was lost as a result of the experience with the drive-through that night. Frankly, it was an insult to be served that food and think that I would be OK with it. Suffice to say, I don't plan to return to the Powhatan Burger King any time soon. They have lost a...

Dined in today & requested that all 3 of our combos be made fresh and burgers off the broiler. ( 2 Whoppers + Double Whopper )

The guy ringing us up never told the workers in the back to make everything fresh nor was it printed on the receipt. While standing waiting for our order we were told go sit down & our food would be brought to us. A few minutes after being seated, a worker brought our food out on the tray. Only 2 burgers + 3 fries were brought out, he forgot one sandwich and had to run back and get it. We opened our sandwiches and they were all cold except the fries were hot. Took our combos back up to the front and told the worker we asked for our burgers to be hot off the broiler. He said they would make it again, shortly after he was bringing our combos back to the table. That quick ? Oh yes and Guess what ? Again! Not hot! Still stone cold like it had been sitting there. These were not off the broiler! The burgers were worse than the first time. We had to tell them twice how we wanted it and still didnt get it that way. For $34 it should have been made correctly " My way right away " without hesitation! Ridiculous We will...

Ordered 2 bacon egg n cheese and 2 sausage egg n cheese croissants. Checked order before I left and it was wrong. Went back through and waited and told them it was wrong - they acted like I was in the wrong for wanting what I ordered then took the food back that was given to me back to the kitchen area (*didnt think that was a good idea with COVID) But they did and told me to pull up and wait. So I did. A few minutes later someone brings a bag and tosses it to me and immediately leaves even though I'm saying "can you wait until I check it". Yes, you guessed it. It was wrong again.

This isnt my first rodeo with them getting simple orders wrong, and then to boot they were rude to me about THEM getting MY order wrong. I didnt even act mad nor was I the least bit rude....

Will not be going back.

Will NOT be supporting the idea for fast food workers to get $15 an hour.... cant get 4 sandwiches correct when...
