Love Chick-fil-A! I’m thinking this is a new location because of the Grand Opening sign inside. Little disappointed though in the fact that my “always hot” sandwich wasn’t. It was cold. Bun was ice cold. And chicken was a tad warm. My cheese didn’t even melt. My husbands was cold too. He took them back and the guy at counter in a managers shirt took them back readily and told the cook they are cold. He said no they aren’t! And the manager Saadi.. yes they are I feel it’s cold. A few minutes later he brought us new sandwiches and said I’m so very sorry. We opened them.. and they were no better than the first ones. Cheese was Still ice cold too. Usually it is melted.
I hope it’s all “new restaurant” learning curves. Hopefully next time the manager will think to check to be sure his employee did what he was supposed to do and figure out a way to serve hot sandwiches. It was 4:00 in afternoon and not busy so I’m sure everything was sitting waiting for a purchase. I will try it again, because I understand opening new places… but I’m only giving 1 star to the food.and 2 to the service.
Also we were done in and had food in a bag instead of a tray.
No offer of anything free nor did he come back to see if we were happy.

Read moreThe new location, near 288 on Broad, is definitely having some 'new opening' pains. I waited in the Express Lane for over 20 minutes, after placing my order online via the app. I've never had to wait that long at any Chick-fil-A. I asked the server why they didn't have servers outside, like most in our area do, and she said they bring them inside at 8 pm. I could see a bunch of employees through the drive-thru window, while at least 10 cars sat waiting in 2 lines. She also said they weren't typically that busy on a Tues. evening but they seemed to have the staff to cover it but unfortunately not the wherewithall to make it happen.
I also did not receive a 'our pleasure' or an apology for the wait so it makes me wonder if this location will have the great food and service we've all come to know. I'm hoping it's because they are so new but not feeling they received the same training or have the same customer service attitude the other locations have ... fingers crossed they will work...
Read moreThis is a new location. A family member also worked at this location for several months. While yes, this is a lovely location with great Chick-fil-A food, the employees at ALL LOCATIONS are not always treated fairly. My family member was working while finishing high school, provided her availability, was hired under these arrangements, and then was given as little as 4 hrs a week, even though she was available for 20 hrs per week during school. She also was only offered $12.00/hrs which is unlivable for anyone, and they did not allow any negotiation on pay. While I understand this is their business model, perhaps we should be supporting OTHER COMPANIES. As a long time Chick-fil-A customer, it does pain me to say all of this but it’s so true. I’ve also noticed a significant decline n the quality of the chicken used in sandwiches, probably all chicken. Still love ya, Chick-fil-A. But lesser chicken for...
