Came in after going to Busch gardens with my wife and was real tired, she wanted to get blizzards and I figured it wouldn’t be to much hassle. Walked in and 4-5 kids working there doing a whole lot of nothing and not a single one greets me or my wife. I said whatever and didn’t want to find other options so I decided I’d still get a chicken basket which is about 12$ and my wife got a 6$ meal deal so that should be 20$ so far I asked if I could do a blizzard instead of a drink and he said sure + my wife got a blizzard. The total came out to 32$!! I guess he charged me for a blizzard and just didn’t give me a drink or it was like an upcharge that instead of a drink I got a blizzard and saved a whole 1$ and some change (at that point I should have just kept the drink and got a blizzard) but he didn’t explain this before hand. So I’m already irritated but the worst part was how he proceeded to just walk out and without saying our food is ready or anything just leaves my food on the counter without saying anything to us. I get we were the only ones in the store but I don’t know what these kids doing was that for him to take home???? How would I know thats for us?? Am I supposed to just know?? I guess.. anyways I said loud like is that our food of course the kid was already running to the back. Then once we dig through the bag to make sure it was in fact ours two little teenage girls I guess (workers) walk up to the counter and not one of them said have a good night nothing as we were ghosts walking out it’s like no manager thought to teach any of these little kids in here any customer service it’s wild. Anyhow I don’t have time or patience to deal with all of these little spoiled kids working at this place then to pay that much for two people for some sub par food/ice cream on top of that. Plenty of other options. I’d rather get ice cream at the gas station next door next time I get way better service. Anyhow they won’t see me again in...

I pulled into the drive-through and said distinctly into the speaker, when asked, “A caramel sundae, medium size, please”. The employee said, “A medium fries and what kind of sundae?” I replied slowly an a bit more carefully, “No fries. A medium sized caramel sundae.” Again, the employee asked what kind of sundae, so I spelled it: C-a-r-a-m-e-l. She said, “Okay, a medium caramel sundae. Anything else?” When I said no, she told me the price. I pulled around to the window and a young man opened it and said, “Fries?” I said, “No…just a medium sized (with emphasis and enunciation) caramel sundae only please!” He told me the price, I gave him the money, and he gave me the sundae (no plastic cover to protect the top) and some change. I said, “Thank you” both times. Then this youngster that looked like this was his first part-time job had the audacity to say to me, a woman old enough to be his grandmother, “You should have some patience. The rudeness really wasn’t necessary!” Then, he slammed the window shut in my face. Now, I got rude and screamed, “ You all need to learn how to do your job, then a customer would NOT have to repeat the order 4 times!!! A complete lack of respect!! I will bet that he would blame me for any reprimand a decent manager would give him. I will never go to...

I normally visit this Dairy Queen about 1 or 2 times per week for ice cream. The blizzards are normally outstanding. This evening however was horrible. I made my normal order, through the drive thru. The young lady that took my order and money was great. The lady that handed me my order was very rude. She handed my my order and as I started to say thank you, she was already closing the window. No thank you, have a good evening or anything else. I think I know why. The blizzard was horrible which would explain why she did not do the normal turning upside down. Had she turned it upside down she would of had a runny mess on her counter. I got home and the blizzard was nothing but fruit floating in what amounted to milk. It was totally melted. I live directly.across the street and have never had one melt before I get home. Horrible customer service and that can be excused to having a bad night but you ruined...

Selfish. This owner jacks up his prices on everything. Great example is the $7 Superman Meal Deal that he decided should be $8. That's just one blatant example. DQ owners are allowed to set their own pricing, so this guy takes advantage of it. We almost NEVER go here anymore because of this. If this guy would charge normal rates, he would get more business from the locals. He's banking on the tourist traffic coming off 64 instead. Not only is the food overpriced, but the "Blizzards" are never frozen enough. They are melting before they even hand them to you. Good luck having this location flip your Blizzard. You'll be wearing it if they even tried.

The Owner Discriminates Against Old Bills I stopped at the Dairy Queen on Courthouse Road by Colonial Downs to grab ice cream for my kids. I handed the cashier a perfectly good ten dollar bill. They looked at it strangely and said they could not take it. No pen test. No light. No manager. Just a firm no because “the owner does not take old bills.” I stood there holding legal U.S. currency like I had tried to pay with a seashell. I have been coming here for years with my kids. After this I will find another place for ice cream. Getting pretty wild when you can’t pay with cash. Completely absurd.

Without a doubt one of the filthiest establishments of any brand that I have ever been to nationwide. 14 tables and all were totally filthy. The floor was full of trash. The service bar behind the counter had clearly visible, totally unsanitary towels and linens. The staff which consisted of three females and one male remained behind the counter the entire time on their phones and made no attempt to rectify the dirty conditions of the entire place. Food was okay but based on how the place looked, I doubt it is wise to consume anything manufactured or prepared here.
