If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I need to premise this by saying that my daughters call me a Karen against Karens. I very rarely complain especially in these times of stress. I always tip service workers more than 25%. I even tipped the woman that took my money during this transaction. That being said, my experience here left me shaking. I placed my order and then realized that I had forgotten to order hash browns. I asked if it was too late to add them and got a terse “Your order?” I asked her if she was annoyed with me and a man jumped in stating “I didn’t hear that. She asked for your order. Place your order.” I paid and tipped at the window and asked to speak to the man who had interrupted. I was informed that his name was Joe. I tried to explain to Joe that it was sexist for him to speak for her and to invalidate my experience by denying it because he didn’t view it the same way. He started talking over me loudly exclaiming three times throughout the interaction that “I am in charge” He stated that he jumped in because I was starting something and she is a nice girl who always talks like that. He was incensed that I said that it was sexist and blamed it on me!! I explained that he was not listening to me but he just kept talking loudly over me. A simple apology would have ended it but he was too aggressive and “in charge” to handle customer service. He should NOT be in management and she should NOT be working with customers if he is correct in his assessment that she always talks like that. Those two tainted the 45 dollars that I spent. I will NEVER spend another dollar at...
Read moreHorrible atmosphere to work in. Stood in the lobby for about 10-15 minutes for an iced macchiato and watched two employees struggle with a lobby full of people both shorter ladies one with ginger hair and one with braids. They were trying their best and I applaud that. What made me upset was watching what looked like a girl supervisor (had a gold tag on) with glasses and lots of tattoos come out just to scold the girl with the ginger hair telling her she keeps messing up and isn’t moving quick enough instead of squeezing in the line and helping her out like a supervisor should. After witnessing that, I politely asked the ginger lady with glasses for my refund and apologized to her for how she was treated. If that’s how management treats their staff at this location I’ll take my business elsewhere. I think the ginger girls name was Jenny or Jennifer but her and the girl with braids are the type of people who keep businesses going and don’t need the negativity in their ear when they’re doing...
Read moreI typically don’t leave reviews, but today my inner basic b decided to take over. I order coffee almost EVERY DAY before work (Amazon, right behind the building), and usually it’s perfect. Today- not so much. I enjoy a “dirty” chai every now & again, so I figured I’d get my usual order (usually a cold brew with cold foam) in chai form with cold foam and an extra shot of espresso. I recieved this, and the woman working about RAN out of the window when I looked a little confused as to what she was handing me. If I pay extra for something, I’m expecting that something to be included in/with my drink, especially when it’s almost a dollar to add it.
They want a pay raise but can’t follow the simplest of instructions. I order online for a reason- for my order to be exactly how I want it, and it still comes out messed up. (Included pics of my order, and my drink, with the label, so it’s not like it was some secretive thing- it’s out...
