Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia

10/8/2025 - Approximately 2:30-3:00 PM This is a very unfortunate rating for the Hardee's in Disputanta, Virginia. Earlier in the day I went to Hardee's to pick up something to eat. So I decided I'd go through the drive-thru. Upon entering the drive-thru ordering screen, I waited for someone to ask me for my order. No one ever asked, so I drove to the window. In fact there wasn't anyone manning the window at all. So I went to park in parking lot & entered the restaurant and it was nasty. There was trash on the floor all over the place. The floors needed to be mopped. They looked horribly dirty. I approached the counter to order. The employees in the restaurant, made me feel very uncomfortable like I had bothered them to be there. Once I paid for my order, I went to my car to drive home. Where this particular Hardee's is located, you can look back from the light and see the restaurant. Someone else came up and they were taking their orders from the drive-thru so my question is why did they not take my order? I really don't get it. I was not mean or rude to anyone. Even when I went inside I was not. However when I got home and looked in the bag and I should have checked before I left, but really seriously I felt very uncomfortable. I don't know what they would have said if I question them about the way my food was done. It was horrible. Usually, the people at this particular Hardee's restaurant are nice and they really care for their customers. However, this particular crew team are not professional, nor responsible for treating their customers well. And you can look back at every rating I've had about this particular Hardee's and there were always good except for one time a while ago. We never had experienced this kind of lack of customer service in this store. The one thing I can say, is that this particular Hardee's has never been as dirty as it was today. It does not make me feel good to write this. But, this is what makes...

"Virginia 's best burger" was worst Ive ever eaten. Well took a few bites of and threw out-- and I judge people for wasting food. As excellent as the Hardee's leaving the Outer Banks was, this one was the opposite. Best I can say is it was clean and the staff was presentable. Went in for a drink saw peach poster & said, (in front of counter person) what comes in the peach? My man says there it is up there, so I said I'll get it in tea. Told girl I wanted peach tea.. Then ordered Frisco burger and he ordered small chicken tenders. She asked what size, confused us, size of what? Drink. I'd told her I wanted Lg, which she already had out, & he hadnt ordered a drink. Did I want fries, no. Total about $16 sounded right. Was handed a cup and only regular tea was in the self serve. Went back & was told that's hand crafted & upcharg. I Said well that's what I ordered. (& thought I'd paid for) OK. But we had wasted enough time with the re-asking of every item ordered & didn't have time for a hand crafted drink. So Manager, I assume, came out and asked 'how did you say it?' .?? I said I wanted peach tea. To give first girl benefit of the doubt she may have thought I said 'sweet' tea. I told her dont bother with the upcharge just refund the tea. My tea money was cheerfuly refunded and we took our food and left. It would have been chalked up to a misunderstanding but I opened burger and he said that's a sorry looking burger. Meat was cut in two and paper thin, cheese had no flavor, and the sandwich was lukewarm at best. Bit into burger and the meat was ICE COLD! Like it had been leftover from yesterday, taken out of refrigerator and put under warming lamp! If you're traveling on 460 S there's another Hardees in a few miles that may be a better option. Avoid this one as there are many other options...

Hardee’s on Fountain Drive in Disputanta, VA – Frustrating Every Time

I’m honestly fed up with this Hardee’s location. It seems like every single time I come here, there’s a problem. Whether it’s being out of chicken, discounts not working, or the menu being half unavailable, it’s always something. This has been going on for a while now.

Most recently, I ordered a burger and specifically asked for no special sauce and no pickles—but of course, they ignored that and slapped both on there anyway. And to top it off, I ordered a piece of chicken on the side, and what I got was literally a bone with breading—no actual meat, just breading wrapped around a bone. I paid almost $4 for that. Ridiculous.

The worst part is the lack of care from the staff. When the general manager is there, things actually go well—she fixes problems, shows respect, and makes sure customers leave satisfied. But if she’s not on shift, it’s like nobody gives a darn. They don’t apologize, they don’t try to fix anything, and they just let you walk away upset.

Honestly, they should’ve just left the old Hardee’s down the road open—this one clearly isn’t cutting it. I left incredibly disappointed and angry. This location needs serious attention and better management when the GM...
