I love going to this restaurant at the Shanandoah Heritage Farmer's Market because it gives you great food and great customer service and a wonderful place to hang out and take it easy and meet friends and have several other places to shop and take a look at things before or after eating. It is wonderful on Tuesdays only when an individual outside barbecues chicken for only $5 for a whole quarter. They also have an antique shop, a toy shop, a fabric shop, a kitchen shop, a military surplus store, a store for everything a cowboy could want, and many other things you enjoy also. They do a very good job making the facility handicap accessible and even providing wheelchairs for those who may need one. I Highly recommend coming and checking out the place for yourself and I guarantee you that you will want to come back time and time again.

I had a sweet tooth. I bought the jumbo red velvet cupcake and the Italian peanut butter cup gelato. The cupcake had a strong cream cheese flavor but the cupcake was too dry to me. I didn’t eat it all. The gelato was good but not my favorite. There were plenty of tables to sit down though. It was in its own little section in the market and it was about in the middle of the market. I wouldn’t order the cupcake or gelato again, it was just OK. Prices were OK. It was almost $9 for a small cup of gelato and a jumbo cupcake. For the taste of both it was not worth the $9. They have other food to order like sandwiches, burgers, soups, etc. The cashier was friendly. 3 stars because it is about average for a cupcake/gelato from all the places I have tried in the last year and the service was good.

This is not typically a place I would go, but when a friend said he got the best burger he had ever had here, I figured I was driving right by it so let’s give it a try. Tell you what I don’t know if I’d say number one, but I would put it up pretty high on the list. It’s a cute place with a lot of interesting things to see. Amish-made furniture, local cheeses, jams and canned goods, quilts, Western wear and antiques! It’s a very eclectic market and worth the stop to browse and have a bite to eat. Vegetable market not open yet, but I’ll bet it’s worth a stop too. I will be back.

WORSE PLACE EVER!! 1.They will give you a drink holder but ask you to bring back for next time because they are expensive. 2. They won't take Discover even though they have before because that's all I had. 3. I ordered 3 burgers. I ask for only mustard, mayonnaise & onions. None of that was on there & they put what I told them not to put which was lettuce & tomato. I called back & told them they messed up on 2 of the burger. The answer was I'm sorry. I was like that's your answer. I called back again & he said they don't charge for onions he would give me a little back. I ask how would you like your meal be wrong & you get I'm sorry I didn't charge you for the onions. Plus on my lunch break & couldn't go back. Vicky the owner is rude. You lost our business before over the drink holder & I gave you another chance but this was your last. I'll let ALL my friends know about you & not send anyone else there. They are very expensive & you don't get that much food...
