Mama Possum's on Rt. 41 Mt. Hermon — Restaurant in Virginia

Currently just there and I've had the worse customer service experience ever in life!!!!!!!!!For starters,my husband and I dined in&we placed our orders..when I completed mines I asked the waitress could I have cheese on my fries?...She sarcastically said"No we dont do that"and beginned rolling her eyes...Then when it was time to bring our food out the same waitress with a BAD ATTITUDE brought my husband's fries and burger on a plate&brought mine wrapped up individually and sat them on a table.My husband and I looked at each other puzzled like"Why would she not put my food on the plate?..So I called her back over and asked"could I get a plate?"..she brought it with attitude..again rolling her eyes!!!...So at this point I'm beyond ANGRY but still didnt get out of character..So when she comes back and asks"do we need anything??"my husband replied&I said nothing...So lastly she picked my husband's plate up&looked at me sarcastically and asked"Do you want me to get your plate??"..I slid it to her&she started laughing and walked off...Wanted to see the manager before I left but I felt it wouldn't do NO good!!..Just want everyone to know how bad my experience was...I absolutely love the one on riverside location but I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ONE!!!..No one should NEVER be treated this way...The customer service...

AMAZING LITTLE RESTAURANT WITH WONDERFUL FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, AND NICE ATMOSPHERE!!! This is a FIRST visit to this little hidden gem, but definitely WON'T be our last!!! We're from just over the line in North Carolina, but often shop in Danville and this restaurant is a bit of a drive away from ALL of the major shopping areas in the city, but DEFINITELY worth the drive!! I swear the CRISPY HOMEMADE ONION RINGS alone are worth the drive!!😁They greet you from the time you walk in the door, which is really welcoming! Their food is DELICIOUS and VERY reasonably priced!!😋 It's decorated with various metal license plates and signs!! The food service workers are lined up and working with their own little system which makes their service VERY QUICK from order to serving, which is fascinating to watch! They have a nice VARIETY of food which you can see by the menu in my pictures! They even have soft serve ice cream & homemade milkshakes! If you're in or around the Danville, Virginia area and looking for a great eatery, do yourself a favor and try Mama Possums!!!❤️ YOU'RE...

This is a DINER. A classic experience worth every penny, not that you have to spend too many! While it not may your jukebox, Happy Days, Fonzie kinda diner, it is decorated with nostalgic items such as liscence plates and old Coke signs. The food here is absolutely astonishing in terms of quality and price. You will not have to pay major bucks. A meal for 5 with dessert may be around 45-50 bucks. There is a pretty good selection on items to eat. Please remember to specify, though. It's not their fault when you order a hamburger and dont get cheese! The atmosphere is a wonderful, peacebringing feel. There is a tv for entertainment and news, ice cream, classic dishes, wonderful staff, and a great meal for your family waiting for you at...
