Always check your bag before leaving this place! Wow what a terrible experience. The service was terrible and we were given undercooked food and the wrong food. They couldn’t find our order that we placed through their website after we had placed it 20 min before arriving. Then it took an additional 40 min for the food to be ready. We checked our bag before we left and they forgot items so we had to wait for that. When I got home I saw that our pupusas were still raw around the edges and one of the tamales had spilled into the bag.The sopa de res was lukewarm at best with a nice side of cold tortillas.
I called the restaurant and spoke to Daniella to let them know. I was informed that I placed my order wrong online and that’s why I had to wait (not true). She also claimed she expedited our food, which explains our undercooked food. The only solution she offered was to bring the food back immediately so they could see it, which I was unable to do at the moment. What terrible customer service. She was extremely unhelpful and I couldn’t believe she was trying to blame me. I would order from here all the time, whether we picked it up or had it delivered through DoorDash. They’ve consistently forgotten items when we order through DoorDash but at least DoorDash would offer a reimbursement. It’s a shame that they have...
Read moreI went here for lunch & although the service was mediocre, I chalked it up to language barriers. The street tacos were amazing tho & I wanted my husband to try them. So we ordered them for dinner a night or 2 later which I did so online for takeout. I left after I was notified they were ready, I actually seen my order on the counter when I arrived. There was a short line, one cashier, no big deal. It started taking quite awhile & another cashier came to help. The line split in to 2 separate lines, me & the guy in front of me being there first & for quite awhile at this time. The cashier took the guy ahead of me first, then after him, even after the other guy said I was first, he took the other guy. Then I went up next, told him it was online order, he quickly told me to wait, even tho it's right there. He took another customer, then quickly walked away to the back. The other cashier finished her order then asked me if I needed something to which I told her my name, then I was finally given my order. This was a good 15 mins after walking in the door & seeing my order on the counter. I hate to say it... But it felt a lot like it was a little more then just the language barrier at that point...It made the tacos taste not as good as I had remembered from a few...
Read moreOverall had poor experience. The food was ok I have had better pupusas but the biggest issue this restaurant has its professionalism. The man cooking in the back not sure if he was the owner but was downright rude and spiteful. He and the cashier seemed annoyed because I asked question about a sauce. They purposely gave me the wrong sauce and then refused to give me the sauce they originally said came with the food. A lady in the kitchen was nice enough to come from the back and gave me the correct sauce. In addition, I got my soup towards the end of my meal and the man/owner/cook was annoyed because I asked for the update on my soup. I later asked if they had ice water because my son had finished the water bottle I purchased but then wanted ice water. The man was annoyed and said that the only way to get water is to buy bottled water. Every restaurant that I have been to always offer water. To top it all off the cashier thought she was slick and started making rude comments under her breath which I heard. The second cashier gave me the wrong change.
