At Oozie Chicken Plus restaurant, the chicken surpassed all expectations its delicious flavor and juiciness. The white meat was remarkably tender and flavorful, demonstrating a quality that could easily rival dark meat options. The carrot cake provided a delightful conclusion to the meal, boasting a moist texture and exceptional homemade flavor. Though it contained slightly more frosting than preferred, the overall taste was scrumptious and far superior to store-bought alternatives. Read moreCame here during opening weekend. I tried ordering from the menu but the guy working behind the cash register said "you can't order that". Apparently a dish that says add any two free sides isn't what it appears. Apparently the sides are what the restaurant says you can order, in my case I wanted my baba ganoush as a side but the dude said that's "extra and not a side" then I tried ordering the other sides then he said "We only have Salad, fries, and rice". This is very misleading advertising on there part. I decided to order a half chicken with rice because I was already there. After waiting a half hour (which is long!) the food arrived. After tasting the chicken and rice it was very dry and tastes like the dude heated it up in a microwave.
Overall If you like gross food, bad service, and misleading advertising, this is the place for you! My reccomendation is go too Super Pollo in Arlington and you will not be...
Read moreNew spot in town. We decided to stop by during a power outage in our neighborhood because our other spots were closed.
It was freezing during our entire meal. The spot was clean and so were the bathrooms. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
The food was OK. We ordered a full chicken which came with two sides and sauces. It's advertised as Peruvian Chicken but my taste buds beg to differ. The "white sauce" had a familiar taste but the "green sauce" was different. It was too acidic (too much lemon) and it was spicy. It didnt blend well together.
The fries and yucca were delicious and cooked perfectly.
I ordered a chicken bowl to go. I haven't had a chance to eat it.
They offer Horchata, Tamarind and Mango juice. No fountain soda.
Their menu was smaller than I imagined.
It's a spot you have to try for yourself. We enjoyed our service and meal, but I'm not sure we'll...
