I recently had the pleasure of dining at ( take out) Perfect Pollo Peruvian Chicken in Fredericksburg, VA, it was an experience that deserves nothing less than a glowing 5-star review.
Let's start with the star of the show – their chicken. rotisserie-style to perfection over charcoal, each piece of chicken is seasoned with expertise, resulting in a flavor that is simply out of this world. The tenderness and juiciness of the meat are unparalleled, making every bite a true delight for the taste buds..
But it's not just the chicken that makes Perfect Pollo exceptional; it's the owner who truly brings this place to life. From the moment I stepped foot inside, i was greeted with the warmth and kindness of a proprietor who genuinely loves what they do. His enthusiasm is infectious, and it adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience.
If you're on the go and in a hurry, fear not! Perfect Pollo has got you covered. With a turnaround time of under 5 minutes for both of my visits, you'll be in and out in no time. However, do keep in mind that if you're ordering wings, (possibly the best I’ve had) which are made to order, a little extra time may be required. But trust me, it's worth the wait.
Now, let's move on to the sauces – the traditional Peruvian yellow and green sauces are an absolute must-try. The green sauce, with its spicy jalapeño and garlic (?) base, packs a punch that will leave you craving more. And the yellow sauce, with its delightful ale to honey mustard flavors, is a match made in heaven. But here's the secret – mix them together for the best of both worlds. It's a new family favorite in our household, and I guarantee it will be...
Read moreMy Husband and I finally had the chance to stop by and purchase us some food. OMG, first of all when we walked in the door we could smell the cleanliness, and everything was nice and clean. I used the restroom it was also very clean and smelled clean as well!!!! This has to be the cleanest Restaurant we have been in, over the past 15 yrs. that we haven't personally cleaned ourselves!!!!!!!!! We were very impressed with that because we believe this is a lost art these days!!!!!! Now onto the food it was absolutely delicious and priced low for what we got which was as follows: 1 whole & quarter of dark Chicken, 1 Large red beans and rice, 1 Large mixed veggies, 1 small plaintains, and 1 small Mac & cheese ( wished we got a large)... Everything was delicious!!!!!! We had dinner for two days!!!! We can't say anything bad at all about this place!!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful!!!! Cudoos to the owner and staff you really have a gem here, and you know it so, may you all be blessed!!!!!!!!!!!! The food has very good energy in it which means they put their love into the food and you can taste and feel it!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of Home when your Mother or Grandma cooks a delicious dinner and you also feel their love in all the food!!!!!! This is a missing art nowadays in most food chains but, this Peruvian food was more than what I expected!!!! We hardly eat out now bc the energy is so bad and we have food allergies (GF and MSG), the chickens were small and didnt look all big and genetically modified so, that made us feel great!!!!! Perfect Pollo is a great name and you can expect to see more of us in the nearest future...thank you we appreciate your...
Read more[Top 10% Google Reviewers] Decent and ok food but couldn't get over the price of everything. For what I paid I could have sat down at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse or an upscale restaurant and probably paid less. The portions were also very small. Folks go to restaurants to eat and so they could leave feeling full. Even after paying the outrageous price, eating my plate, hate to say it..I'm still very hungry. It was unfulfilling and I won't be returning. Rico's Pollo is just a mile down the road and charges less while offering bigger portions and size. The only reason I tried this place out tonight was because we wanted to try somewhere new. No one greeted us or said hi, not even a wave or a smile (not a big deal but you're in the food industry). The server behind the counter looked like he wanted to go home...not even a "thanks for coming" lol. The restaurant was empty and there was not a customer in sight yet it still took 30 minutes to get the order and out the door. We ordered Yucca fries and got 5..literally 5. I mean come on! 5?! Lol.. a plain rice container was $5, this was the most I ever paid for a side of rice in my life. You can buy a months worth of rice for $5..maybe two. Regular fries ran 2.50+ but was a handful. Smaller than McDonald's small ordered fries yet cost more with no taste and they're store bought. The reviews were overated and I'm very...
