The food is seldom an issue here, as its delicious, but the service is always dreadful. I wish they took some steps to improve the service and wait time, as it frustrates a good food experience.

Usually I’ve had longer wait for when I have Paratha, which I understand. But today we went to just pickup Samosa and decided to have a Chaat while there, and it took 45 minutes to get our order. It was not too crowded, and we also saw some customers who walked in after us, order and get their orders.

At the counter, we ordered aloo tikki chaat with a request of no sweet sauce. It was specified and supposedly captured in the ticket. I mentioned Samosas were to-go, but we would eat chat there. The cashier noted it down.

We waited 30 mins until I finally decided to go and ask how much time it would take. I was told 5 minutes more by another person. I saw that Aloo Tikki was fried and was just sitting on the counter and nobody had bothered to make the order. He then proceeded to make the order. On receiving, I asked if it had tamarind/sweet sauce as I am allergic, and he said he put it and whether I had specified at the time of ordering. I said I did, and he said he would make it again in 5 minutes.

After another 10 minutes, he waves me to counter to give me a plate of Samosas that I had ordered for to-go. I said that these are for to-go. He said he would pack it. Chat will be another 5 minutes he said.

Finally he called me again to get the chat. This time he made it in front of me and it was accurate. I asked about Samosas and they were right there in the plate and not packed. He hastily packed them and then handed over to me.

All of this was a shame and could be avoided, as food was delicious. Both samosas and the aloo tikki chat were great. Complimentary lentil soup was too watery today than usual. Tasted good, but extremely watered down.

Davinderji - We love the food, but please kindly do something about the...

Serving True Punjabi food. Reviewed this place a year ago. Visited a few times and always ate similar food so no updates. However tried panipoori and papri chat for the 1st time today and they lived up to expectations too. Especially the papri chat. Panipuri a 4/5 but papri chat a solid 5/5. And had to get a stuffed parantha, which like always was excellent. Will try something new next time!

Early 2024 review - Ive heard from friends in the past, but today was my first time here. The menu diaplayed above the counter was already mouthwatering for my north Indian tastebuds. We decided to order paranthas Gobi and Muli. The parnthas were huge and I was not able to eat a whole parantha. They were served with yogurt, white butter and pickle. Reminding of how we eat them back home. For those who know their parabthas, having Gobi and muli parantha with stuffing in 1 dough ball ( 1 आटे के पेड़े में 1 परांठा) certainly takes a lot exprerience, especially when paranthas are large and stuffed well ( usually people make those in 2 dough balls topped on one another (a work around for the newbies at the art of parantha making). The stuffing was very generous too. Yogurt and butter were very fresh. And there was complimentary lentil soup, which was super delicious. Made with freshly ground ginger, garlic and green chilly mixed with cumin seeds for tempring and some green corriender added. The jalebis ( 2 varities, sugar and jaggery sweetened) are amazingly good too. The owners were very warm and friendly. Knowing that the lady who co-owns the place is from Amritsar, we discussed amritsari food and felt like talking with personal friends rather than an owner of a business that we were customers at. Next time to try more stuff like pooris and may be makki...

I've drivin by this place hundreds if not thousands of times and even tho it's not hard to miss driving on 606, I've always thought this place was closed. I always see trucks parking in the lot and always thought this place was out of business. I work in the area and was on my lunch break. I had stopped by the gas station to just grab something quick and while parked, noticed the open sign on, so I took a gamble and decided to grab something from there rather than the gas station. There is plenty of parking even though there are many trucks parked there. When walking in the establishment is a pretty good sized place with a lot of seating. It was my first time going and I got lost in a good way by how big the menu is. It literally is the size of the whole counter from one end of the restaurant to the other end. They have a wide selection of food from American, chinese. They had food ready to go in some warmers like fried rice, egg rolls, lo mein and a lot of yummy choices. I walked in around 2:45 and they close at 4, so I chose some fried rice, lo mein with some chicken curry on top with a bottle of soda. The price was okay for what I got. They also serve breakfast from the signs posted. The food was okay. The lo mein didnt have much flavor but the fried rice and curry chicken was pretty good. It's no 5 star restaurant and I'm sure they have other items which taste good. Next time I'll probably try their steak and cheese. Overall it's not a bad spot, especially if you work along 606, Pacific blvd cause there aren't many lunch choices if you're on your lunch break. I'll...

If you love punjabi food then I strongly recommend this restaurant. I have been here many times and i like food every time. This time clicked some pictures for adding review. I recommend chola bhatura (most fluffy and no extra dripping oil), aloo tikki chat, chat papdi, any paratha, makki roti with sag, jelebi, sweets, dal makhani, chicken appetizers and dishes. Has white butter and india style dahi and raitas with dishes. What sets this apart from other restaurants is - authentic Punjabi food which IMO was kind of missing or inconsistent in nova region, huge sitting space on 2 floors unlike other restaurants who are half its size and have a lot of tables in that small space, self service, beautiful surroundings and outdoor sitting space, huge parking lot, fresh food, courteous staff and 24 hour open. Hard for any restaurant to match this. Remember that this is punjabi restaurant so do expect ghee, butter (generally on the side) and masalas in food. If you don't like rich yummy punjabi food then this is probably expectation mismatch as its no chipotle. There is always room for improvement. Service and billing can be a little fast. Acknowledge others who are waiting to not make them feel ignored if they have to wait for like 5 minutes. Pani puri water and accompanied masala can improve (still better than other restaurants)
