Place was run down, vents were horribly dirty. Custard machine was broken. Gotta pay for refills. Me and my coworker were the only customers in the place. I ordered a cheeseburger with a drink. My friend did as well. Took them 35 minutes to get us our food. My buns were still very cold from the freezer. The veg on it was so old it was disintegrating. And they randomly put jalapeños on it. This was one of my favorite places to grab a bbq sandwich or footlong with chile for lunch. Went there today and it is under new ownership. Horrible food. Ordered a footlong with chile -- they cooked the hot dog in the deep fryer. The BBQ is not even close to what they used to serve. BBQ is commercial bought brand in a plastic container. Custard Kitchen used to have one of the best Pork BBQ sandwiches in the area. Now, what you get is reheated BBQ that comes in a plastic container.
