Tony's Pizza & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

Girl that took my phone order was pleasant. Ordered a medium supreme and asked for it cooked a little extra. First time there. Restaurant looked very clean. The girls that were at register were very nice. We had to wait a few minutes on out to go order. As we were walking in parking lot we looked at pizza and realized we had been given wrong pizza. Went back inside and told the girl. She was apologetic. Went to kitchen and brought us our pizza. It was very under cooked.....and remember we asked for extra cook time. We had to bring it home and cook it an additional 15 minutes. It was just not good. Very disappointed. On a side note there was another lady waiting. The wrong pizza that we were given (and we had taken out of restaurant) was her pizza. The girl gave it to her right after we brought it back in. Never had been here til 2 days ago & ordered the "stuffed pizza" and it was amazingly DELICIOUS! I'm from NJ & i had a place that i could get something similar to it but this is the FIRST place I've found in the 20+ YEARS I've lived in Virginia that has something VERY similar!! And i actually stumbled upon this GEM while going with a friend to pick up her order from the Chinese restaurant nearby & I LOVED it & so did my brother & nephew! (also from NJ) And the desserts, Omg! I think they have 6-7 diff desserts so i got a slice of tiramiso (DELICIOUS) A couple Cannoli (ALSO delicious) but my FAVE so far is the CREAMSICKLE PIE (or DREAMSICKLE as some call it) and It WAS DIVINE! I only say "so far" bcz (to my pleasure) I still have 3 or 4 MORE desserts to try! If i could give 100 stars i would!! This restaurant has definitely gone downhill!! Kids spaghetti was about half a cup of noodles with about 2 tablespoons of sauce no garlic bread! Got calamari it was way over done!! Was like eating rubber bands!! Got a hamburger with french fries the hamburger was under done and the bun was hard and not toasted stale hard!!! I ask for everything no mayonnaise and I got a slice of tomato and some shredded lettuce!! I got an apple tart that came with ice cream and the ice cream was literally in the same size container they put the ketchup in for the fries! Maybe a tablespoon!! In the trash it went!! We ended up going to Wendy’s!! This place used to be good I don’t know what happened but they’re not now if you want good pizza and food at a reasonable price where you get your moneys worth go to new Brother‘s Pizza in Fishersville 10 times better!!!
