Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia

Did an online order to be ready by 1:15pm. Got to tropical smoothie at 1:30ish & was told they never received my order. I was then asked for my confirmation email which I showed and was asked what I got, mind you all of that information is listed on the confirmation email I was asked to present. I told the lady what I ordered (a chicken pesto flatbread, chips and bahama mama smoothie) and she relayed the message to another young lady who began working on my flatbread. While waiting, another lady came in to complain about her food and asked for it to be remade due to a food allergy, after telling her she'd remake it the lady said thank you and the girl just ignored her slamming stuff. I finally got my food with no chips in the bag so I grabbed my own chips then stood there to wait on my smoothie. The girl I originally spoke with seemed to have an attitude at this point because things were beginning to get busy. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes on my smoothie and several other people coming and going, she said are you waiting on a smoothie? I'm like yes. She said what kind was it again? I said bahama mama to which she responded, that's right. I didnt get out of there until a little after 1:50 pm when my order was supposed to be done at 1:15 pm. This is my first time visiting this location today on August 23, 2025 in the afternoon. I live in MD but went over the King George to shop. I ordered a Avocolada and three cheese chicken and my son ordered the baja chicken wrap with no cheese and an acai berry boost smoothie with chia seeds and ginger. I wasn't paying attention while we were waiting for our food. When I got home my smoothie had a big piece of avocado skin in it! Then my son told me that he saw the guy fixing my smoothie put a whole half of an avocado with peel and in it! They are only supposed to use the inside of the avocado. I asked him why didn't he tell me and he said he was sorry. My son's wrap had cheese and he is lactose intolerant. I didn't want to eat his food, so he had to throw it away. I poured my smoothie down the drain. We lived too far to go back so I just have to take the loss. I'm so mad!!!! Food is too expensive to have to waste it. I will never visit this store again. Every time I go here there’s a low sense of professionalism. Today, the hours said 7AM-9PM. I placed a mobile order at 7:45 AM which confirm the hours and I get there and the door’s locked. Cool. Called the store- no answer, but there’s people inside. Waited around until 8AM. There’s obviously someone inside, but they keep doing whatever they’re doing. I go back two hours later in hopes of a refund and the employees act offended and that they have to deal with a customer and display no customer service skills and continue cussing and going about their day to the point where they don’t even listen to what I’m saying and just start remaking a smoothie when I asked for a refund. At this point I just let it go because it’s obvious that this is routine for them. Long story short : change your hours or open on time because you’re wasting people’s time and have some manners.
