Wawa — Restaurant in Virginia

I'm only giving 3 stars because there are great people who work here... but ive reached my limit with high prices and employees shorting me on food.. this bowl I've supplied pics of is $8.99 before tax.. ive gotten it 4x now from a total of 3 different wawas with this being the second time here.. so I know how it should actually look.. I told the girl that it was light and mentioned it was a $9 bowl and she said "well thats all we can do, we can only do so much" like I don't know what it's actually supposed to be like.. the bowls are normally pretty filling at anyone one you go to.. this was a disappointing experience and the last one for me.. this is how you take a $20+/day spender down to nothing.. ive spent as much as $75 in a day for food and drinks here.. again over all the employees are great.. but there are a few who probably shouldn't be in the food service industry.. maybe she'll get a cut of thar 9 bucks for shorting me? Not sure how it works in people's minds.. but if you're going to charge that much.. train your people the correct way! I'll stick to anywhere else for the prices im paying at this point.. also take notice of my many good reviews.. great people and business catch...

This place is just run poorly, been going here for two years since I work just across the road and it has consistently disappointed. Items are “locked out” of the order screen/app when they have it in stock, or they don’t have it locked when they don’t have it; minor inconvenience that occurs too often. The customer service is lacking any real engagement, and they just don’t keep things stocked in their deli/drink station. In my experience it is the almond milk and the roasted vegetables that they never seem to have. Which is such an avoidable issue if you do any form of inventory in your store. For a while I thought “oh Wawa just isn’t all that, can’t expect much from a convenience store anyway” but I have come to realize it is literally just this store on Butler Road. Go up 17; to the store on Southern Gateway or the one on Warrenton Road and they are freaking stellar, extremely nice, never had any issues getting the items I want. I travel a lot. I have been to hundreds of wawa all over from PA, NJ, DE, VA, FL, and probably a few others. I seen a lot of bad reviews on this one. As a person who knows wawa pretty well, it seems as though this particular wawa does not have a crew that meshes well together, and ultimately brings the quality to the customers down. They have a flaw in the prepared foods and beverages area. Generalizing from the previous reviews. Of this I would agree. But I am pretty sure that it is not something that will be ongoing. They must have people who work there that do not know the expectations of the customers who come to wawa. And that is pretty easy to fix. Even with some training. We as customers know exactly what and how our wawa is supposed to be, and taste. But we shouldn't assume that all employees...
