Highly recommend this park if you’re looking to walk your dog, bike, play on the play ground, or play soccer. There are soccer fields/goals, the playground is covered for the kids, swings are uncovered but they have swings for young and big. They have a trails for biking the entire park. Dogs must be leashed while at the park. There are picnic tables as well for parties/get together or your weekend lunch, parking was okay when I showed up at 12pm, but by the time I left at 2pm the lot was full with cars circling. Parking is an open gravel lot. There are a few handicapped spots, I would consider the park 50% accessible for wheelchair users, definitely have a hard time getting to the bike path but once there it is paved, the parking lot being completely gravel can also be difficult, The walking path is gravel only. Overall, safe and clean park for any age.

Great place to get out and walk, bike, kite or let the kids play. Also frisbee golf, trails, access to Chatham Manor national park. I try to get here at least once a week. Update April 2023. I come here to walk because my neighborhood where I live has no sidewalks and I don't like to walk in traffic. Well more and more I am meeting trucks and cars driving through this park ON the bicycle/walking path. Today a nut zipped right past me on the path about six inches from my face and never even acknowledged me. I guess they let people drive into the park for events, (why?) but at least give people using the park for its intended purpose the right of way! And today was Earth Day. Why can't we keep trucks out of the park at the very least on Earth Day? There is a large parking lot . . .

Huge park with tons of things to do. There’s 2 basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, a frisbee golf course, trails around the park and to Chatham and other parks, and of course a ton of grassy space. There are restrooms on site. There’s also a nice stage that I’ve never seen used before but could be a cool venue. You can park either in the parking lot off River Road, or at the very back of the YMCA that’s right behind the park.

Pratt, Brooks, Chatam have been connected for years and easily offers 5-6 miles of walking, running, and some biking along its many trails. Pavillions with lights & fans and adjacent wooded areas that have at least 1 creek feeding the Rappahannock River provide shaded areas and other opportunities for recreation. Very nice 9-hole Frisbee golf course runs through the wooded areas if Pratt & Brooks.

Busy park for soccer games on Saturdays in the spring and fall. Parking can be tight so people park wherever they can. Soccer fields are in good shape but are pretty close to each other, so it's common for a ball from another game to roll across your field. The park has a walking path, playgrounds and frisbee golf, so its a good place to spend a day.
