Wing Boss Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

I didn’t know what to exactly expect other than wings. So I was a bit surprised by the extensive menu and the small block on the menu for the wings. My husband was a bit frustrated as there was no rhyme or reason to the spiciness of the sauces. If you didn’t know you would have to ask or take a risk. It would have been nice to have them listed in order of spiciness.

We came mid afternoon so it was slow. Only 2 tables occupied. But had 2 waitresses. So fast service

They have lunch specials so we went with the namesake of wings and fries. I chose extra traditional with buffalo sauce and he went with the jerk. I liked mine. I liked the crispiness of the boneless wing. He wasn’t thrilled. There is a flat spice that takes over the flavor and then there is heat. Wouldn’t ever order that again. He also got a side of the sweet spice. It tasted like sugar to me - he loved it. The fries were nicely crispy.

Decor is basic and doesn’t seem complete. There’s stuff everywhere. The beer they offer is sitting on top of a wall separator rather than nicely displayed. (I wondered how many have fallen and broken). The front counter that greets you looks messy with stuff everywhere.

The worst though was the floor. I went to the bathroom and the floor was extremely gross. There was sticky goop by the back door. Black stuff everywhere and dirt piles. I would have thought 2 waitress on a slow day one would clean. The counter top to the sink was wiped down and trash was taken out- but I couldn’t get past the floors.

I would have come back on a wing craving day but after seeing that I just wonder what it looks like in...

Today we went there for dinner and it was awful. As soon as I walked in the door I smelled SEWAGE so I thought my nose was playing tricks on me. We ordered our dinner me and my friend ordered the ham with I had fries with cheese and bacon on them and green beans and my friend also had fries with cheese and bacon on them and fried apples. When it came out the ham looked like canned ham with brown sugar and some type of super runny glaze on them. The green beans had absolutely no flavor and my friend fried apples were super greasy. The only thing that was good was the fries and the roll and my daughter Mac and cheese. The waitress never even asked us if we needed refills on our drinks. As we finished eating dinner the SEWAGE smell came back and this time my friend smelled it. I will not be returning and I will also tell my family and friends never to eat there unless they want to...

Worst restaurant I’ve been to. I ordered the bone in wings which were entirely freezer burnt in appearance and taste. They looked like plastic but were slimy. There was a drizzle of sauce. I could not eat them. My wife had the boneless wings which were both pasty and powdery inside and smelled foul. She could not eat them. The side of corn was brown; clearly from a can. The kids meal corn dog looked like a sad 7-11 hot dog that had been on the rotisserie for 5 days. It was dried out and several overcooked. 2 of the appetizer plates were dirty. The atmosphere is drab. We should’ve know better since there were only 4-5 people seated for dinner.
