Scotty's Donuts — Restaurant in Visalia

What can you say about an institution that is Scotty's!? This place has been around so long, and I have so many memories from my childhood going here to get some donuts on a Saturday morning with my dad, now I get to make those memories with my own kids.

The selection goes fast, so be sure to get there early. They are hot and fresh, also my favorite is a good old fashioned. The apple fritters are HUGE and loaded with apples, so its great choice for a hungry kid who wants a sugar high.

These are the BEST Doughnuts I have ever tasted!! Every time I get them, they're all gone in a hurry. I've never had to throw out a doughnut from Scotty's! Besides from their amazing tasting doughnuts, one of the things that sets them apart from the other doughnut shops is that Scotty's always glazes the entire doughnut in a glaze and then dips the tops into either maple or chocolate icing. Doing this makes their doughnuts double dipped! They are so amazing!! I will never go anywhere else besides Scotty's for doughnuts ever again!! This was NOT my first visit to Scotty's, which is why I was beyond surprised when I got home, I found the donuts over-cooked to the point that they were inedible. One bite was all I could muster. All I could taste was the oil it was fried in. The service would have been fine, except the gentleman should have known better than to sell such awful food.
