Editing my review after a year and taking back my 5 stars if I could give a lower rating I would. We had stopped going here after they kept messing up our order which honestly is hard to do because I only get tacos de asada la pura carne because my son is allergic to onions everytime we go here I make sure they hear me and know it's not a picky situation but an allergic one and of course they always put onions and cilantro in our tacos We decided to give them another try tonight and honestly I regret it while I started to order the girl at the register was rude all i ask was to make sure the cook was aware of the food allergy and i also asked for my tortillas not to be to oily and she said "they'll come out however they do" and of course the first taco i took out had cilantro and onions I usually keep it to myself and we end up buying taco bell instead but this time I was too tired to go somewhere else and decided to speak up when I went back to the register with my open container to explain what happened the older lady told me it was no big deal and it was normal because the cook has gloves on and he goes back and forth grabbing all the veggies with them at this point i once again told her I had informed the girl when I order about our food allergy she said next time you should ask for no lemons if you don't want them to touch the veggies but I mean come on now are we not going to address the cross contamination or how about the covid part of it they have a sign on the door that says no entrance without a mask but the cooks were mask less??

Read moreThis place is great unless they mess up your order. If that happens, you’re forced to eat the mistake and pay for it. They’re usually really nice here but again not if they mess your food up. They don’t offer any sort of compensation, especially for someone who’s been coming here for years and more than three times a week. I tried calling when they messed my order up, but the phones were too busy so I came in the next day and they don’t really seem to care. They said they would ask for extra sauce next time because they left it off the order, but I don’t want extra sauce. I just want what I paid for. Two days before I ordered enchiladas and with green sauce, but they made up with red sauce. I let that slide and I ordered them again two days later and they did not put any sauce at all. There really isn’t a good customer service policy here. It is probably the managers and owners instructing the workers not to compensate for messed up orders. I can’t say for sure but that’s the impression that I’m getting. so, if you come here probably 80% of the time they’re gonna get your order right and it’ll taste good, but if they mess it up beware because they’re gonna screw you over. This experience is my sign that I should find another place. If I ever come back it won’t be for a long while. I would just feel so much more comfortable doing business with a restaurant who takes ownership for their mistakes and makes up for them....

First off the bucket we use to refill the ice from the soda machine, yes the ice you use to put in your drink cup well those buckets are outside exposed to flies and other insects sometimes they be on the dirty ground, disgusting. 2nd I saw one time the OWNER picking at his nose digging for gold then continue preparing the food. 3rd the kitchen staff is cutting asada they will take a small piece obviously using their hands putting it in their mouth and continue cutting the meat same as the owner never washing their hands. 4th one time I couldn’t find a spoon to steer the horchata w/ once again the OWNER found one but it was underneath a dirty nasty rag and used that to steer it w/ and made me give a cup of horchata to the customer that order one.
