This place is the perfect spot for an Awesome, intimate meal. It's very clean, atmosphere is 100% Irish, lots of woodwork and nice tables and leather covered comfy stools. The mushrooms are so good!!! Perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. They are sauteed in a garlic butter with a hint of parmesan. An unreal "good" feeling therapy for an appetizer. The fish is just like I used have in the UK and Ireland; beer battered, thin crisp and the fish was perfectly cooked, not dry and tasty. After the Shepard's pie, I'm changing careers, I'll be a shepard if I can have this everyday. That old fashioned, thick and dark beef gravy, with beef, peas and carrots over a huge bowl of perfect mashed potatoes is the best I've ever had in my life!! Bravo to The Old Triangle, no wonder you're voted Best in Wabasha!

We enjoyed our visit to the pub and would recommend it if you are an Irish pub fan. Smithwicks on tap here is a big plus being a personal favorite and not being able to find it on tap in a lot of places. The pretzel bites appetizer is awesome with the cheese sauce. Very buttery and crispy bites were a perfect way to start. The paddymelt and pork tenderloin was good and the pub chips made it even better. Fresh potatoes made just right into chips was very good.

Come here when in town visiting family. This Pub/restaurant fits the atmosphere of Wabasha? Cosey, comfy, great friendly service and great food. We went specifically for the broiled walleye dinner on Wednesday evening. We used to live in MN, AND MISSED having walleye! It was fantastic. Served with mashed potatoes and green beans, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Always try & come here when we come to Wabasha.

I was disappointed. My wife and I ate there on Valentines day which is also her birthday. The server had no greeting like "what brings you out today" or mention of "Happy Birthday" and no decorations for valentines day. My wife asked what they had for mixed drinks or if they have a menu of drinks and the reply was they had beer. I did not rate the food but my wife from an Irish background knows Irish food and the cheap knockoff bar food they serve is not it. We only had appetizers and my beer and then left so I will not rate the food. My observation of the food is from the on line pictures, menu description and seeing what the locals ordered and that told me all I needed. I think the good reviews are from the older locals that eat there as they all seemed to know eat other and we gave up our table so they could sit together. Worst Valentines/Birthday stop ever, but since popular with the older locals gave it...

A somewhat hidden gem: very friendly staff, smaller restaurant, clean and cozy with a wonderful laid back atmosphere. You can sit at the bar and eat or sit at the tables. They offer food and alcohol. And best of all the food was amazing, we had the batter fried mushrooms as our appetizer, they were the best that any of us had had with a light non-breaded batter and made from real mushrooms unlike the frozen ones that so many serve. The fish and chips were so good that I may just make the 30 mile trip just for the fish and chips. The tarter sauce was also the best we had had, when we asked about it we were told that it was homemade and not from a jar. Great prices! This place is a must...
