Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Waco

Located off china springs road next to taco bell. Small little coffee shop with a drive thru. Their menu is full of options, looks very Christmas like. I ordered a blended candy cane mocha, and a Red-eye(drip coffee) w/shit of espresso with added mocha and peppermint for my fiance. The employees were nice, and the service was prompt. My fiance is a drip coffee freak, he loves it, he's tried every drip coffee all around the country plus some! He took one drink of his coffee and said it was absolutely horrible 😵 his coffee tasted like they used old coffee grounds. He said "hotel coffee taste better than that crap" 😖 worst coffee he has ever had....okay now for my blended cane cane mocha...I mean it's not horrible. The cup is lined with mocha sauce and there is peppermint bark sprinkled on top. It's sweet, and chocolatey. You can taste the peppermint. I also added a extra shot of espresso. Overall my feelings aren't entirely hurt but what I got but I wasn't super impressed. I don't what kind of coffee they use but it's not very strong, and isn't flavorful. Maybe thats why a lot of what they have they add peppermint to it. My blended drink was sweet for sure but I couldn't really taste the coffee. I want the best of both worlds. Price wise, my drink cost a little over $7. I can spend that elsewhere and get a coffee I really enjoy. This was my first time here. Would I recommend this place? Sure. It's not absolutely horrible. My fiance says he will never go back.

Everyone at Scooter's is delightful and they have great coffee. I always have a great experience there. I had to leave a good review because their rating shouldn't be this low over a SECOND...
