Lady Bug Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Wadesboro

We moved to Wadesboro in March from out of state, so this was my first time visiting this establishment.

I ordered my to-go food from what they referred to as the "hot table" from a woman who made it crystal clear that serving me was a pain in her butt. I became so uncomfortable that I didn't even take the time to finish my 2 orders.

Instead, I simply stated " obviously you feel that I'm being a pain in your butt and I don't need anything else" and took the food she handed me. I paid for it at the register on my way out. She loudly insisted that she had "only treated me in respect!" I also asked the soft-spoken, very young girl behind the cash register the other woman's name before I left, and she said that she believed that her name was Kiki.

The best way for me to describe this woman and her behavior is to say: If you walked on water in front of her; she would say that you didn't know how to swim.

Stopped by on my way through Wadesboro. I would have been better off stopping at Sonics. The waiter was not friendly and gave poor service. The server at the hot bar definitely didn’t want to be there or serve customers and it shows in her performance. The hot bar definitely wasn’t the way to go. I got the baked chicken it was cold and dry there was a good flavor drowned out with dryness and being cold. The rice and gravy was lackluster and the corn bread was absolutely terrible. The only thing that was decent and some what hot was the baked beans. The building definitely needs an update but why not make it look the best u can by doing a deep cleaning and keeping up with it?! Get better staff with better manners and customer service skills, get an actual HOT bar make the inside cleaner and more appealing. People would be more comfortable spending that coin. I bet the money to get a better location or update that one would come. Definitely will not return or...

WORST place we have EVER been!!!. Went there for breakfast, and waited 50 minutes !!!!!!, for eggs and sausages....and no, the place was no way near filled - maybe 15 customers in all. Eggs were tasteless, sausage so overcooked that it was inedible. I ordered pancakes "with blueberries" ( mind you, the berries is extra $$). What I got was lukewarm pancakes with blueberry JELLY smeared on top. Everything is served on/in styrofoam and plastic. Didn't even get a knife to cut the meat. (Our) waitress took forever and was totally disengage - she could not have cared less. There was another one, who literally ran around, to get people served.
