Shortstop Inn — Restaurant in Wakarusa

After reading the good reviews we decided to try this out on our weekly bike night. The place is neat and clean and has a neighborhood atmosphere. However our group was assigned to an obviously inexperienced new server. It took quite a while to get beverages and take the order. A local patron had to help get the drinks. After 2 rounds and 1.5 hours we inquired about the food order. We were told that they had placed the smaller tables in first and our order was just being placed. The owners were there and should have supervised the inexperienced server more closely. She apologized saying how short staffed they were but it was mostly empty and until we started to leave no attention was paid to our party of 9.

This thing you had put on a street concert when we visited. So the road was blocked. However, there was ample parking on the side streets and surface streets of the area. Naturally, the place was very busy inside and had seating outside where the concert was taken. Place the food took some time to get and the hot sauce for the wings I ordered. Never came. I literally didn't get what I needed… otherwise, it was a fun event. Folkstop a line with us and we had a great time on our visit. Also the pitcher of beer price...

Got to this place just after 6pm. I was told the food would take a little longer as the place was packed. I ordered the pork tenderloin as it was tenderloin Thursday as I sat at the bar. 2 large beers later, about an hour no food yet no info as to when I would get it! I paid for my beers and left, an hour for a tenderloin and it wasn't even started was enough waiting just terrible service.
