If loving W.H.O.P. is wrong, I don’t wanna be right. Stopped by Wakefield House of Pizza (a.k.a. W.H.O.P. — yes, that’s the name and I love them for it), and ordered a gyro that straight-up changed my life. I’ve eaten a lot of gyros—chubby guy credentials here—and this one? This one whispered sweet lamby nothings to my soul. Juicy, flavorful, seasoned by the gods and probably a Greek grandma somewhere in spirit. But the food is just the start. The owners, Dina and Phil, are absolute gems. Talking to them is like catching up with your cool artistic aunt and your quirky genius uncle who may or may not be moonlighting as a pizza Picasso. The place is full of Phil’s artwork and Dina’s crafting magic—it’s like Etsy and a pizzeria had a delicious baby. W.H.O.P. isn’t just a restaurant. It’s an experience. It’s a warm hug with tzatziki on your face. It’s small-town charm, wrapped in foil, and served hot. Do yourself a favor. Go. Eat. Laugh. Admire the art. And order the gyro. Trust the belly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (I’d give them 6 stars but Google said no.) #ChrisCortez603

Used to be Pizza Shack in Farmington NH. Favorite place ever! I was so sad to see them go. They've definitely gone up in price though, $42 for 2 large pizzas seems a bit much honestly. Looking at their menu it looks like it makes sense. They base it on topping where a 4 topping was $20 something itself and I think 1 pizza was a 4 topping and the other was a 1 topping. Excellent food, all of it! So glad I was able to find them again!

This place is a cozy little pizza joint that has very friendly people that work there. The fries there are absolutely fantastic. The green pepper pizza was on point. The service was fast and I didn't even call ahead. I just walked in and asked and the wonderful lady behind the counter was making it before I could even blink my eyes. This is that hometown vibe food that deserves some respect.

The absolute BEST!!!! Best in town. We ANLY HAD C&G forever but now with choices...., trickier! If Clair we’re still running it, it’s wouldve stayed my fav. Sauce was great. Now, not so much and never enough sauce. After she left sauce was suddenly too too sweet and almost no sauce. Still best in town for calzones... I didn’t care for new sauce and my husband did and so had to look to surrounding towns, WOLFBORO far but worth it at Wolfgangs ( by far!!!!) or the place a cross the street near the drive through bank (Nicks?) is terrific too. Since new competitors Wakefield House is I think , taking the town by the storm. Up Rt16 is the old pine river pond restaurant the pizza was great too. Not sure of name now, but pizzas great, great (eat in!) not sure how it is now. BEST OF ALL!!!! I’m very very specific! Large with mushrooms, sauce and cheese and toppings AALL THE WAY TO THE EDGE, NO CRUST. That’s EXACTLY WHAT THEY MAKE ME TO PERFECTION!!!! Literally NO EDGE CRUST! I don’t know or care HOW they do it, it’s just great because I just call say, place my orders and they AUTOMATICALLY say, “ok SUE! 15-20 minutes!” sometimes only 10-15! How much better does it get when they say know your name AND exactly what I’d like! 1/2 Bacon 1/2 plain large, to DIE FOR AND NO GNAWING ON A BIG CHUNK OF DOUGH TO HAVE TO DIP TO MOISTEN TO FILL YOURSELF! Also, we used to LOVE C&Gs but now crust wayyyyy too thick, barely any sauce and still at lease an inch or more of crust!!! Unless WE ARE REALLY DYING FOR CALZONE WE STICK WITH C&Gs Clair new my preference by my name but still a crust... great in a pinch, but at least check out wakefiend house across from P.p.pub. I haven’t had much else like sandwiches there but they look really good going out! Be sure to try and give “Deena” your order and it will come out just perfectly & exactly how you like it! Yummy in...

Only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is the terrible customer service I just received.... Food is pretty good! The manager & young lady employee seemed nice enough but the cook/chef in the back had a terrible attitude. She messed my order up, I calmly came back and asked for the steak and cheese plate I ordered and gave back the bacon cheeseburger I received. She made rude remarks within the exchange, as well as sarcastic responses and proceeded to remake me a steak and cheese. When finished she slapped it on the counter and headed back in the kitchen. Never mind the fries that I didn’t receive with the steak and cheese PLATE that I PAID for, but the service overall was uncomfortable and inconvenient. Willing to come back if she gets her act together or she gets lost!

PS steak & cheese was great; would have the loved to have the fries...
