I'm tempted not to tell ANYBODY about this hidden gem, just so my wife and I can have it all to ourselves whenever we return.
And we most definitely WILL return.
This may be the only diner on the planet where you don't have to beg for crispy hashbrowns. They simply come that way: i.e. done properly. The fries were done perfectly, too. They know their taters.
Bring a box, or two appetites per person. The portions are large enough that you'll have leftovers tomorrow, AND you'll look forward to eating them.
My wife loved the asparagus chicken, and I wasn't the least bit disappointed with my crispy chicken wrap. There are probably six dozen other offerings on the menu, so we'll be back seventy-one more times.

Our waitress was a hoot. Seemed to know every customer's name, the names of everybody they were related to, their medical histories and, I'll wager, the shape of all their birthmarks. Waldo, Wisconsin is apparently the midwest's answer to Mayberry, RFD.

I certainly get it. We can't get back there...
Read moreAn absolute atrocious experience. Quite possibly the most appalling customer service I've ever experienced. We ordered, waited 50 minutes, no one checked on our drinks after being started, then they asked for $3 dollars still for a chocolate milk once I said I was leaving. Not intelligently run business and the effort to collect three bucks after failing to tend to us or get us our food in the hour we spent there is an absolute embarrassment. I highly suggest driving past this place at all costs and go to Plymouth or another business that is focused on the big picture. Failing to plan not a customers fault. I never smash a restaurant on reviews but I can't smash this...
Read moreI stopped off here on a Thursday afternoon. The atmosphere was a typical, friendly Wisconsin small town. The lady in charge was smart and friendly. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they were so-so. I took my order to go and they set me up with some chopped ham for my dog. I would be happy to return here. They close early and they do accept debit and...
