This little coffee drive-through is such a gem! It’s the kind of place that feels like a local secret—quick, friendly service and some of the best baked treats I’ve had in a long time.

The cheese scone was perfectly buttery with just the right amount of savory goodness, and the cinnamon roll? Absolutely divine—soft, gooey, and full of cinnamon flavor without being overly sweet. You can tell they’re made fresh and with love.

The coffee was solid and paired perfectly with the pastries. It’s the kind of place you wish you lived closer to so you could swing by every morning.

We stayed in Newport for 4 days traveling south on HWY 101 craving a great coffee experience to assist with our agate hunt. We stopped at Beachside Buzz on 10/3/20 with hope for a tasty cup of coffee. My husband got 8 shots on ice and I got a London fog with almond milk. The espresso had bright acidity and had a nutty finish, decent flavor. My tea paired very well with the homemade gluten free peach scone. The coffee stand offered fresh baked goodies and such a bonus for gluten free options. The barista was very nice too. Beachside Buzz is HEAVEN!!! This adorable little hut by the beach is so much more than a coffee shop! I'm addicted to their delicious bagel sammiches (The Italian Stallion is ridiculously tasty) and delightful baked treats. And the drinks? Soooooooooo good!! Where else can you get a sparkling Yerba mate with delightful flavor combos like cherry/lime or mango/coconut? Everything here is of such high quality and so thoughtfully sourced, you can taste the love!
