We had last visited this establishment when they were still in Axemann several years back and through a complete lapse of attention on our part, we didn't realize where they had located to until today. There's kind of two atmosphere's upon entering this place. One is a darker, tavern vibe. The other is a much more open and brighter seating area that has some nice windows. We were seated promptly and attended to quickly by our waitress who explained the menu and their drink offerings. I opted for a flight to try a number of beers (this being a brewery I think that's important) and my partner ordered a cider. Our drinks came swiftly and we entered our food selection. First of all the menu has a number of things that we were interested in trying and everything is made there from scratch. Most items are made when you order it which is awesome. I opted for a vodka with meatballs and my partner went for a mushroom risotto with steak. The vodka sauce was fantastic with a nice low level spice in the background. The pasta was cooked perfectly for me with the right mix of chew and tenderness. The meatballs were home made and full of flavor. My partner's risotto has a complex profile and was extremely fresh. The steak was cooked perfectly and extremely tender. Insofar as the beer selection, I'm typically an IPA guy but the surprising standout for me was the Rubio. I'm a fan of pale cervezas, but I didn't expect to find such a respectable version of one here in central PA. It was bright, aromatic, and extremely refreshing. Definitely worth a try. The service throughout was friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. The portions were well worth the price. There's a ton of things I want to try on the menu. We'll definitely be back here again in the future. Truly just a lovely little spot!

STOP! šŸ™…šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøTURN AROUND! NOT WORTH IT!! I totally forgot about this place till my kids said they took their bonus mom here for Mother’s Day 2021, and the buffet was a total flop. They said they hardly had any food available on the buffet, they left hungry and their dad paid a lot of moneyšŸ˜†. Those are my kids words. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø. Lol That’s not funny but it kinda is. Just imagine your kids telling you their experiences. That’s all. Their experience reminded me to give this review so that’s why I’m doing it now, after the fact. Our awesome neighbor took my mom & I here during the pandemic and as you can tell by the pictures that the bread was over baked. The seafood was not edible and had a sour fishy taste my mom said and my salad was just plain NASTY!! Just look at the food. I honestly don’t know how this restaurant stays in business Bc it’s not good. I’ve ate out of roach coaches (food trucks) in Baltimore that have tasted better and that says a lot. I’ve also ate better food while homeless years ago, out of city food carts where they don’t wash their hands. I would have rather ate out of a Waste Management 6 yard dumpster before I ever go back there. What’s funny is that my kids are only 15,14,14 and they know this place is red flagged. As you can see We got a full refund for my neighbor Bc this is totally unacceptable. Lastly, this place is beautiful but if the food & service is lousy then what good is it? *The whole experience was just lousy. We thought we would get some good hot 🄵 food on a cold, wet, rainy beautiful fall day in 2020 and left disappointed & highly dissatisfied. I’m pretty sure it was the owner who refunded us but she was extremely rude and didn’t want to hear about it. I’ll never be back. Bet!! *

Blonde Bistro Brew Works is a really cozy bistro/brewery. Two drinks to start, Riesling was tasty and generous pour, I would say my Husband’s whiskey sour was average. Had the white clams and muscles to start. One of the things I love when dining out is when a carafe or pitcher of ice water is left on the table; we’re water drinkers! Food is very good. The Hot Mess was a fried basket of fun, never had corn on the cob tempura before and it was delicious! The lobster ravioli Hubby ordered was good, sauce was tasty without overpowering the delicate seafood flavors. I would like to give a shout out to our server and chef for preparing our food without garlic. Because everything is cooked to order, they had the flexibility to accommodate this request, and it was handled with grace and respect. It’s a cute place with roomy and comfortable seating. Super friendly, hometown feel. Definitely worth a stop!

Went here for the first and last time on a Friday afternoon around 2 for an early Mothers Day luncheon. Upon entering the restaurant we were not greeted by anyone. The waitress walked out from the back and just look at us. So we picked a table, which wasn't hard, as there were only 2 other customers. Still no hello or welcome from the waitress. She gave us menus and walk away, didn't even take our drink orders. After about 10 mins. she came back to take our orders. Simple right? Well not if you want a turkey wrap. They were out of turkey on a Friday afternoon. I understand on occasion restaurants run out of items, but turkey? At this point I wish we would've walked out. We ordered 2 cheesesteaks and a chicken salad. Again, no drink orders taken. After waiting over 30 minutes for those items to come out I walked over to a cooler they have and pulled out 3 bottled waters, self service?? We received our food. To my amazement the salad was serviced on a flat dinner plate. Came with fries on it, which wasn't stated on the menu. The salad was big and looked fresh, after removing the fries, but again on a plate? So I ask if we could have a bowl for it. We were given a small metal mixing bowl!! Guess they don't have salad bowls. Since the person who ordered the salad has hand tremors, (reason the turkey wrap was ordered) it was nearly impossible for them to consume. The cheesesteaks were actually very good and the bread was great. That is the reason for the 2 stars. But it isn't enough to bring me back to this establishment. I will add they didn't charge us for self serviced bottled water as the waitress, upon bringing our check, realized she had forgotten to take our drink order. Again it wasn't busy we were a party of three and one other party of 2 were dining. Just an overall feeling that they really didn't care about the customer, and we were bothering them by stopping in. ...
