Hardee’s — Restaurant in Walkertown

A little confused as to why there would be a shift change during the middle of lunch. So during my already way too short 30 minute lunch more than half of it was spent ordering my food then had to wait a few extra minutes to get my food due to the shif switch was really hoping that because of the extra wait that my food would have been pipping hot but fries barely warm and the same with my over sauced burger. :-(. The manager was nice but lordy she look like she had been wareing the same uniform for 4 days 24/7 even sleeping in that thing. I try not to judge but hello you are the one who needs to be setting the example for the rest of your staff. If the cheif doesn't care the indians wont either. Our eyes and ears give us that lasting first impression I was not impressed and almost walked out before even ordering. The store it self needed to be cleaned and restocked. I visited the Walkertown Hardees today 4/24/2019. I seen a new sign advertising "Big Roast Beef". I hope anyone reading this review can also see the pictures of the sandwiches I received. Absolutely pitiful. If these are "BIG" a small must mean microscopic. Smashed up doughy bread with good ole processed beef product. Both top and bottom bread touching each other. The meat lacks any flavor at all. They were on sale 2 for $5. Normal price supposedly is going to be $4.79. Good luck with that. I've had much better vending machine food. Lastly I read some horrid reviews before posting this. Most notably one from a current cook at the restaurant states if you don't like it then don't eat at Hardees.Wow! I use yo come up a bit id get a monster burger combo with an extra patty I stoped because of the store manager at the time but the new store manager he's working on fixing the store back to what it was back when she first opened back in the 80s. Now its not 5 because it is slow but this is not a fast food joint per say its more of a made to order given that unless its dinner rush they make just enough for the rush and a bit more. If you go in right as they shift which is the best time the burgers will take a bit because they are cooking it fresh and they have to throw out any that sit on the steam table past a stretch of time i k ow this because of my serve safe training and that the new store manager is cracking down on waste and the dry food.
