We have frequented Lubrano's many times prior to the pandemic but only stopped by for the first time since March in September. It was our personal choice to dine at home but missed the restaurant and decided to give it a go. We showed up about 5:30 on a Saturday just 2 of us. The outside staff was a little abrupt when we walked up and asked if 2 people could be seated. (Before pandemic they only took reservations for more than 4). They said the inside was reservation only and full for the night. Well we wanted outdoors anyway and then we were told no problem as many tables there were open. All good but like I said waiters were a bit abrupt as we only wanted outdoors anyway. Our meal was very good, we do expect a longer wait as they cook to order but unless inside was packed it seemed a long wait time. Our dinner for two took 2 hours. We had agrodolce (shrimp and calamari for two) taste was wonderful but I thought light on shrimp, 4 pieces and the rest calamari. The spicy garlicky salmon was delicious and well cooked, the mashed potatoes very yummy. The veal milanese had a very fresh salad on top and was very good. As a whole, we still love the place, enjoyed our wine and chilled. The parking lot a bit of a challenge for the atmosphere but that 's ok too, were happy they have stayed open as we love indoor dining there. The outside staff just need a little more TLC to be shown toward the patrons trying to support the restaurant and the staff. We tipped not only generously to support the waiter but we also tipped cash. We feel we did our part to show the love but hopefully when we get indoors again it will feel more like the old days prior to this crazy pandemic. Overall, we will always come back for the food, the support of a long time family place and a kitchen away from my own once and awhile.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic Italian spot! Lubrano’s Trattoria delivers on every level — food, service, and value. We started with the focaccia bread (seriously, don’t skip it…I know some people don’t want to fill up on bread, but just try it! With the spice/olive oil mix to dip) and 1/2 dozen clams oreganata. The clams were incredibly tender and the oreganata topping was some of the best I’ve ever had. For dinner, I had the rigatoni alla vodka — and as a self-proclaimed vodka sauce snob, I was very impressed. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My dad ordered the parmigiana trio (chicken, veal, and shrimp) and it was excellent. All entrees come with a fresh garden salad — highly recommend trying the balsamic blue cheese dressing, it’s their signature and it’s amazing. Service here is top tier. Our server was attentive, friendly, and timed the courses beautifully so we never felt rushed. It’s BYOB, which is a great perk, and there’s a liquor store conveniently right next door. Big bonus: they even had root beer for my dad, which made him very happy. Another huge plus — there’s a big parking lot, which makes getting in and out super easy, especially during busy hours. The portions are huge (easily enough for leftovers), prices are super reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still has that elevated, trattoria-style charm. They also offer pizza and slices at the counter if you’re looking for something more casual. Highly recommend — just be sure to make a reservation!

My review is about 5 visits too late… but Lubrano’s is absolutely some of the best Italian around. I am a stickler for good Italian food and this place is the real deal. Genuinely excellent food, consistent quality, and great service. Right out the gate, the bread with dipping oil is amazing— that’s always a great sign. For appetizers, we’ve had the fried mozzarella, clams casino, artichokes, eggplant, spicy shrimp, meatballs… all truly delicious. And I have to say - NO ONE seems to know how to make a good meatball. But these guys have got it down pat! For main course, I have tried multiple pasta dishes (spicy rigatoni, meat sauce, vodka sauce), but have learned to always add a ball of burrata 🤤 Amazing, every time. For dessert, I highly recommend their cappuccino and the Nutella Cheesecake. Their homemade gelato is also a delight. I just brought a group of 10 last night and now they are all obsessed and can’t wait to go back. In fact, two of them went again tonight 😂 Just goes to show you how great Lubrano’s really is! 100/10 - see you soon!

Disappointing service by Deidre! Came in tonight Friday December 21st, 2012 around 4:40 PM to an empty restaurant and was asked if we had a reservation as they were holding many tables for reservations later in the evening.

Once our meals were dropped off after a lengthy delay – it took 1 hour and 10 minutes from walking in to receiving them – due to a two page takeout order per our server slowing down the kitchen; Diedre did not return to check up on our drinks for refills even though many were empty nor did she ever return to approach us to ask if we wanted dessert.

Finally after being disgusted with the wait – we asked one of the bussers who were spot on and asked them for a check. Our server finally came over – and stated she was busy in the kitchen working on a complicated order and apologized. Honestly, if the server would have been on-point Lubrano’s would have gotten a dessert order along with a coffee or espresso order generating another $30 or so.

When leaving we approached a manager after leaving to discuss the situation – however, they did not seem overly concerned nor did they care. He even asked us if we could get out of the way as he had other customers to serve. As a customer spending $158.08 on dinner for a table of 5 – I was not impressed and felt outraged. Willie Degel from Restaurant Stakeout would have had a field day here! This is not the first time I have felt this way – but it will probably be the last time as I won’t be back!

Finally, when leaving the foyer was unbelievably packed with clients looking to enter the restaurant, however exiting past them was another matter. It took numerous attempts of asking people to move nicely – before forcefully asking them to move.

On a positive note – the food was excellent and the bussing staff was on point. Lubrano’s if properly staffed could have met all of my needs – and had me recommending your establishment to all of my friends instead of telling them...

We couldn't wait to dine at one of my favorite places for my sons 17th birthday. Unfortunately our experience wasn't the best and I was so disappointed! We were seated on time as we had a reservation. Mind you there are you if us and 4 are under the age of 21. Our server opened our wine and left the table without offer the kids a beverage. Once we finally go their drinks we ordered our food and it too an extremely long time to get our appetizers, probably a half an hour. In that time we were never checked on and the kids were never offered another drink. Apps were just ok. Bruschetta was not good at all and the bread was hard as a rock. Eggplant was good and so were the meatballs. Half the table got their side salads but had to wait 5 minutes for the other half, again no one checks on us, no drink service, nothing! We had to clear our own dishes to the side but we kept our silverware which another server came through and cleared while I stepped away from the table. So.pur Entrées come and we have to wait for silverware, which normally wouldn't be a big deal it was just so much until that point and we had been there by now and hour and fifteen minutes. Entrées were all extremely bland and everyone's sauce was so watery. There literally was zero flavor...best thing I can say is that the pasta was cooked perfect. I was so disappointed as I've been eating there for years and absolutely loved it! Our check came and it was well over $300. We paid and left with all our Entrées which will probably be tossed out or doctored up! Just felt like we were robbed, ya know! Anyways I never write reviews but I felt compelled to let others know and possibly give some feedback to the restaurant because I so want to go back and love it! We were there in Sunday the 25th in the...
