I have given this place many chances. I love the views and it is close to home so I figured maybe it was a bad day or short handed. The first instance I had I ordered a steak fajita and it came out cold so I asked them to make it hot, I had to send it back twice and they had a problem with that. Today I went with a friend to have a lunch and when you are talking you aren’t paying a lot of attention. I noticed ants in my glass. I had to flag a waitress down and they discussed how to make it right. They offered my soda to me at no cost and I did ask for a 10% discount for the troubles. The owner came over and stated I am hard to please and this isn’t the first time I have done this. Like I said the last time was because my food was cold. This time was ants. Both issues out of my control. He belittled me by saying I need to get myself together and I am never happy. Maybe I should find another place to eat and not come back. We visit this place very often and each time we spend $100+. I did call department of health because they didn’t see an issue with ants in their cups and serving it to customers. The owner is awful.

EDIT: since I am able to reply to you I will do it this way. The person I was having a lunch with acted in a way that was very disrespectful and I attempted many times during our conversation to deescalate their behavior because you are correct it did not pertain to the situation at all. The first time I had issues my food was cold, literally a fajita. I asked for it to be fixed and that was an immediate issue. My reasoning for asking for a discount was because it was immediately my issue that I had ants in my drink and absolutely nobody was sorry about it. It was very much an “oh well” situation. I do spend a lot of money in there and no you are not kind. Your staff usually isn’t either. I have had many times where I have sat there with empty glasses, cold food etc and not said a word because I know exactly what would have happened and here we are. The way you approached me was uncalled for and yes I did call to have a health inspector come. And also yes the person I was with owes you an apology because it had nothing to do with them and they acted in a very unkind manner and so did you! I remained calm, factual and professional but no I’m not pleased with being treated that way in a place where I spend money. Another time my husband and I went alone and sat on the patio, we didn’t see our waitress at all. So I called the restaurant phone to get refills. We had been sitting there an hour and had been waiting on refills since our food was delivered but once our food was delivered we never seen our waitress again. There has been many incidents yet we continue to support a small business because it is close to home. I have been in there spending a couple hundred dollars for a meal a couple times a week and yet I’m making your wait staff nervous, comical to say the least. I can’t control that the other person called you, he shouldn’t have and I am very sorry he did. Usually a great restaurant but not this trip... Wife and I went to eat dinner on a Saturday evening. We were seated on the deck to enjoy the weather. Chips, salsa and menus were delivered to our table promptly. Watched as other tables (that arrived after us) were being served drinks. We had yet to see our waiter/waitress. We stuck around for 20 minutes and decided enough was enough.. Not one of the wait staff gave us any kind of eye contact.. very disappointing. Their food is real good but if you can't order it then it's not so good. Not sure what the story is. Last time we were there we spent over $100 and left 30% tip... We ended up in Conesville (Thirsty Camel) and had a nice dinner. I'm sorry for the long winded bad review but I'm hoping the owner's see this and speak with their staff about customers and how we, the customer, pays the bills and their wages....

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. After I received my Luke warm meal I waited a long time to try and get a tea refill. No one came back to offer that nor give me my check. Went to the Register to pay for my food and request a to go refill of my tea. When I received the tea refill the waitress charged me an extra $2.75 and said because it was to go charged me for another one. In all the years I have gone to any restaurant I have NEVER been charged for a to go Tea! I refused the charged and the tea and was only given the$2.75 for the Tea back and didn't give me the tax money that was charged saying no tax charged. Everything we purchase is taxed!
