A great family-run restaurant. I would give it more stars if I could. This was my first time here and it was pretty busy with the lunch crowd. The staff was fantastic at handling the rush. To speed things up they were taking orders from people in line before they got to the register.
Since it was my first time and I hadn't even got to where I could see the menu, the lady taking my order kindly retrieved a menu for me and patiently explained what they had and her recommendations. I was never rushed and felt like she was excited to have a new customer.
The food was cooked fresh and the wait was minimal. I got my food to go and watched the staff working while I waited. It was clear there were at least three generations of the family working there including grandma herself who came over to take over filling the empanadas from her granddaughters.
With delicious food and friendly efficient staff and it's easy to see why this place is so popular. 100% recommend.

Read moreA colorful, happy place to have lunch and try some new foods. Empanadas are dough filled with a variety of foods and deep fried. Fresh vegetables, chicken and apple are my favorite. Each costs 3.00 and you need to order at least 2 to fill you up. You get a side which can be a half of an avocado filled with a bean salsa. Or a side of egg salad, or a fruit kabob. You go inside and walk up to a green table and order. You see 4 framed options. One with a drink, side and an empanada on up to more empanada. Somone takes your order then gives it to the cook. You walk a little further to pay and they don't take any tips. You take a number and sit down. They will bring out your order when it ready. They serve the foid in yellow baskets. They have boxes at the garbage cans to put the bottles in to recycle. They ask you don't throw away the baskets. Local artists have paintings on the wall. They buy their food from...
Read moreAmazing spot! Visited on a whim and was very happy I did.
Atmosphere is very festive but calm at the same time. Bright and clean. Lots of seating inside and out
Associate were all very nice, upbeat, and helpful. They were all very attentive and nice to not just the tables but those in line and those that were done.
They were very helpful when discussing options and flavors.
Food was delicious, was ready quickly and came to table hot and yummy.
Went through the line twice so that I could try different fillings of empanadas.
Ordered the one of each beef, chicken, beans and cheese and the avocado with black bean and corn topping and then stewed chicken soup. They had some different salsa to add on top of items and they were very fresh and flavorful.
For the sweet empanadas I tried the blueberry and also the guava strawberry cream. All very yummy.
Would definitely go again. Arrive early...
